  1. I have a final paper to do and I keep lollygagging around as in being lazy. I've probably been to CDC 5+ times this evening looking for something new to read.

I have a Spanish reading comprehension test at 830... I am currently drinking beer and eating Ritz crackers. :picard:

I start work at 8:30am so I'm just looking around.

The key to a good paper is a focused/narrow thesis: everything after is just filling in the blanks.

      Whats the paper on?

  2. How do we know he was cheating? Maybe he no longer had a girlfriend before going out and partying. He's in his 20s. When I was in my 20s, having a significant other was like a commitment and I enjoyed being single. Anyhow, back to hockey.
  3. I say the Lightning in 6. Let's keep the winning rolling. Even though I was traumatized last year by them winning and I almost cried or I did. I don't know, but this year is better.
  4. I always thought of this song as a heart-felt song, such as he found the one, but she's not into him, and he's heartbroken.
  5. Weezer - Pinkerton. When I was in college the first time, this was our album! My roommate and I loved this album so much that we listened to it just about every single day! That was 2001. 2022 - I still listen to this album!
  6. Omg! I am so in love right now! And I got to meet them at the meet and greet!

      Horses are funny like that.

  7. On my way to the NKOTB meet and greet and concert. Just got done eating at Dick’s Drive In - which is the place to be before events! I love eating there! That’s love love love. Oh yeah, and with a mask of course at the concert.
  8. No, I got it at Trader Joe's. It has a unique taste to it. I was looking for the small avocados (the bag of 6), and they were out, so I was thinking what I could put as a topping on bread, and was looking at all the neat cheeses and saw that. I was thinking almond butter or peanut butter, or even cookie butter, but those sounded boring to put on bread and cookie butter is reserved for when I take a large spoonful to eat as well as for apples, which I must have cookie butter with apples. The green apples are best with cookie butter. As a matter of fact, I am out of cookie butter, so I must go get some more - perhaps two jars.
  9. I like that Martin St-Louis has been signed to a contract extension. It will be interesting to see how the team plays through out the upcoming season which I am very curious to see.
  10. Dreadful? It looks yummy to me, hahaha! To think of it this way - its organic rosemary bread with creamy sweet cheese. Like, organic rosemary bread.
  11. It was sunny here in Seattle, WA yesterday. Today it is cloudy and looks cold. Yuck. This weather just cannot make up its mind!

There were some break through clouds today so I took the opportunity to get out and walk the nature trails.  It was humid so it was also a great opportunity to flush those toxins out. But I'm having chips right now, so I don't think flushing the toxins out made a difference.

      its always sunny in philly

  12. Having a few slices of the organic rosemary bread topped with creamy sweet cheese. It reminds me of butter, but the serving size is 1 tbsp per serving, so I put 1 tbsp on each slice. Can you imagine if that was butter! That would be a lot of butter! Oh yeah, I took a bite - I’m hungry.
  13. Oh I love that name! Jeffrey! I call my cat George, and she is a female.
  14. I have not entered anyone's home in a while, but in my apartment, shoes are taken off at the door. I have 5-pairs of shoes at my main door and 1 pair at my back door. It would be dirty to have shoes on in the home, so in the past, when people have been over, their shoes have been off, except for maintenance when in the apartment, I let that slide. They had to fix something. If someone had their shoes on in my apartment other than maintenance, I would probably be staring at their shoes while on and be like - oh god, more wine.
  15. That's great. I live in the USA and there are many differences with politeness. Your post reminded me of a community I grew up in until age 10. Everyone knew each other, everyone said thank you, sorry, and looked out for each other. My parents felt safe to leave the back door unlocked. Everyone helped each other.
  16. I had to laugh at my mother today. She called me and told me that she got pulled over for running a yellow light. The cop pulls her over and lets her off with no ticket, and asks to see the driver registration and insurance. The cop tells her that the car belongs to a suspended driver. My mother says that cannot be possible, and then cop tells her while her husband is in the passenger seat, that her husband got a few tickets that are unpaid and that his license is suspended. So he is getting in trouble, and lets my mother off, and explains to her that she needs to have her license switched to the new state they are in including the license plate for the car. My mother thanks him, but her husband, yeah, different story. He could not believe how the cop just let my mother go, and he is getting in trouble.
  17. Fresh flowers; Afternoon walks in the sun; Walks on nature trails and along the water, as well as checking out cute little shops in the neighborhood; Nice warm weather; My sweet precious cat - George; and A nice clean apartment. It's been a nice day here is Seattle. Enjoyed an afternoon walk while checking out the cute little shops in the neighborhood.
  18. Even though this does not pertain to the Canucks, I had a similar experience with another hockey club. I sent an email to my account rep that I wanted to cancel for the upcoming season and received a VM. I returned the call, and did not say anything negative about why I wanted to cancel. I said that my seat location was a bit high and that heights are not my thing and that the ticket prices were high, and that also the price of wine was a bit high - almost $20 per can. My account rep offered me half season tickets in another location in which the height would be higher. I made a joke along the lines of - oh gosh, I don't want to be terrified even more! But I did say that I would buy a few individual tickets for the upcoming season - I was thinking of the Vancouver Canucks and Montreal Canadiens in my head when I said that.
  19. This is super exciting! And made my day! I like Bruce so much and am super exited for the upcoming season!
