  1. That sounds great! I'm going to go get a burger and fries. And hopefully I will be back in 20 minutes. The burger place is down the street.
  2. hmm, I need to go get a burger and fries during this Intermission. The dessert and champagne are not cutting it!
  3. I absolutely love watching these teams play against each other!
  4. Hmmm, hmm hum, watching another Hockey game right now, and am comparing fights to this game to fights I saw while watching the previous Canucks games. These fights are so so for this game, but my second team is ahead. So that's great. I am looking forward to the game at 7! Going to go get some champagne and dessert! Go Canucks Go!
  5. Georgie! I’ve had her since Saturday, and she has adjusted quite well.
  6. Hmm, I wonder what type of handbag that is in the background, like who makes it?
  7. Meet Georgie!

She is a 2 year old Siamese.  I brought her home a few hours ago, and really likes her kitty tree and cat nip toys!

Let George sleep up on your bed beside you and you won’t care a lick about the Habs being losers.  I did that with my current dog.  Canucks were crap in 2013, so I got my 70 pound Aussie to sleep up on the bed with me to cuddle after losing.  Now, even though we are winning, he thinks my bed is his.  I don’t mind the floor anyway.  At least that’s still mine! :towel:

      Alf, she’s found the bed:

We had a breakthrough an hour ago, when she jumped down from the cat tree, walked through the kitchen and to the living room, and looked around the bedroom.

I think it’s awesome you’re sharing this story with us @brilac

Thank you.  Love seeing animals treated with love.

  8. I’m looking for a cat who is between 2-5. I like kittens, but there are other cats that are in need of a home. I’m going to go see that beautiful Siamese on Saturday. I’m nervous. I don’t know what this cat is like, but I heard she is sweet and not rambunctious, and is talkative.
  9. Has anyone had a Siamese cat recently?  I am going to look at one this week.  From your experience, what is their personality like, and can they be left alone during the day?

I had a Siamese back when I was young. Had her for 13 years. She was quite independent, but still very loving. From what I could tell, there shouldn't really be an issue leaving it alone during the day. I'm no expert, tho.

  10. I confess ~ Sometimes the Fashion isn’t always up to par on the Sunday’s. With the oversized t-shirt, lounge pants, rain/cold weather boots, and a hockey jacket of another team.
  11. I gained 5 pounds this week from drinking wine/champagne and eating delicious food about every day this week. After I drink my coffee, I’m going to the park to get some exercise in.
  12. C'mon Habs, please beat Toronto! You can do this! And yes oh yes!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. I looked at cats today. The beautiful Siamese is being fostered, so I did not see her. I saw the other cat I liked. And I saw many cats. Pete who I liked is under a year old, is rambunctious, all over the place. I thought he was a bit much for me, being rambunctious. I also saw a cat named Miles. Miles like me. I saw him again through the window and he jumped down, and went over to the window to where I was. Miles is 2 years old, but he has urinary issues, and would need to be on SO special food for the rest of his life. Many of the cats there have health issues. I can't deal with health issues. As Sally got older, she developed many health issues, and towards the end, more were found. And I did the best I could. It's stressful. If I got a pet who did not have health issues, and then developed them later in age, I could deal with that.
  14. I may go look at cats tomorrow. There are a few cats I am interested in. I’ve looked at them online, and I want to meet them. One is a beautiful Siamese that is a few years old. The other one is 11. Right now I have been enjoying vacations. I was looking at Norway, Ireland, Portugal, and Iceland last night. Then I saw the amount of hours to Norway. It’s not a direct flight. Then again, I enjoy having a cat around.
  15. There’s another bag I really like. I was looking at it online last night, and it said to call for availability. I went to their store today, and the sales person said they were sold out and it’s a really popular bag, but they didn’t tell me where I could buy it. It’s a small bag, and it was popular 18 years ago, and this brand rolled out with it again. So I may call.
  16. @Tre Mac, how's your new TV stand? I noticed today that the strap on my favorite Marc by Marc Jacobs bag is sort of damaged. I tried repairing it, but no success, so I bought a new strap, and arrives next week. This is my use all the. time bag. And the new handbag I bought a few weeks back, it is my weekend bag, Bellevue bag, going out to dinner bag.
  17. I was looking online, and came across a cousin of mine, and I cannot stop starring. I am like wow - she looks so much like me, or we look just alike. She has the same hair color, same eyes, same look, we smile in our eyes the same, same jaw line, mouth, and we like cats. The last time I saw her I was 15. People think I look like my mother, but I look like my dad more, and my mother was telling me he looked like his mother. And this cousin is from his mother’s side.
