  1. The Bachelor. I give it a 9 this week. The ladies are getting upset. I don’t get it. He’s a good looking fella. He’s not my type, but I would see him as good looking. Those ladies, they need to stop being upset. Like why cares who he is into and who gets more time with him. Gosh, they get to go on trips and drink champagne! Anyhow, this show will be on again this Wednesday!
  2. On another note, having the Pinot Noir with chocolate mousse cake. I don’t know about the cake, but wine has a lot of great health benefits.
  3. That looks like fun. Do you play other sports? Is that you that caught the ball?
  4. I confess ~ I was adjusting my antenna during the Bachelor trying to find the perfect picture, and I found it! Adjusting it to make it just right and perfect. Picture is coming in crystal clear! Thank goodness, this is the Bachelor.
  5. Yay!  Brilac has TV again!  And it’s a bigger TV!  Yayness!

  6. I've had a little Malbec this evening. Trying to decide where I should go next. Norway? Norway sounds nice. I've checked the prices on a travel site a few times this evening, and the price keeps rising. It must be my IP address, checking the price more than once.
  7. Wine is great!

A nice Malbec, oh yeah oh yeah!

I will sure check Amazon.  I have big wine glasses, but not like that.  I am going to sit on it while I drink my coffee of where I am going.  I just looked up my second favorite team to see how they were doing...  And it's a bunch huhs?.  And then I saw who was #8, and it was like - huh? huh?. So I am either thinking Norway the Maritimes, or Portugal.  Hmmm.  Or maybe Iceland.

      Who is your second team?

Montreal Canadiens.  I love going there when they are in the Playoffs!

  8. This ~ Tegan and Sara I bought this album around the time they played at the Heritage Classic. I forgot what year that was, but I remember it was a rainy day, Luongo left, and was traded the next day, and the Sens won.
  9. The TV is on it’s way out.  The logo hardly shows when turning it on and then goes blank.  You know what that means... A new and bigger TV to watch Hockey on!  I must shop after Hot Yoga.

I bought a 40 inch Element TV.  It was cheap, and bigger than the one I have.  I needed a TV that still fit my TV stand, so I got out the tape measure and measured.  It arrives tomorrow.

Tonight it’s wine and quilting.  I’ve already started on the wine.  It’s the Malbec from Argentina.

      I love a good malbec.

They're just so deep and hearty.

@MJDDawgi just took a quick look at 70" oled TV's.....I think at $5k I can probably manage with what I've got.  At the time I got my plasma it definitely destroyed led TV's in terms of black/motion blur, but it looks like the technology is getting better.

  10. @Tre Mac I’ve never shopped from Wayfair, but I like their stuff. Did you receive your TV stand? What does it look like?
  11. I confess ~ I have “collection” of handbags. I don’t think I need anymore.
  12. Gosh, my sleeping schedule is so messed up.  I've been sleeping during the day, and was able to take a nap. yesterday, but woke up at 7pm in time for the game, and been trying to sleep from 1am til now.

I recommend never sleep during the day.

Your body / brain needs to keep a schedule.  Try to get up at the same time each day regardless of what time you go to sleep..

OK - Boomer ( i just said that to myself to save you all the effort .... )

@kingofsurrey  I think fairly short “power naps” are ok after a long day at work for example but yeah, a lengthy sleep can mess with ones regular sleep patterns.

  13. I checked the online portal for rent payments, and saw a pet fee... I advised in December that the cat had passed away, and was quoted a new balance. I paid my rent, and saw the pet fee listed as late when I logged onto the portal. I'm irritated, and sent them an email and called them and left a VM. I'm more concerned about it affecting my payment history. Rent payments are reported. They better have this sort out when they return on Tuesday, and if not, I am escalating it, and looking at other places to live. I'm irritated about how this could affect my payment history, and the concept that they cannot keep their accounting right. When I am quoted an amount, I expected it to be the correct about, rather than finding out later, an extra charge that should not be on there!
  14. Those are so cute! I like the domestic shorthairs. An orange or a grey cat would be great, and I like female cats. Female cats have more personality, and are alpha. All the cats I have liked so far are older/senior cats. And I’m not ready to handle taking care of a senior cat. I’m looking for a younger cat, less than 5 years.
  15. Gosh, it is 12:53am, and I am wide awake. I've been looking at new kitties, but I have not found any that suits me. Sally was a perfect cat. Boy, her personality was perfect, and funny! She loved kitty treats, and had a different meow of everything. I knew the breakfast meow, the get up meow, kitty treat meow, and other meows. About every morning, she would jump up on the bed, and take over my pillow, and purr. It was her morning greeting. She had an evening greeting as well. I would get home from work, and she would fall the the ground, and roll over back and fourth like a dog, looking at me, exposing her stomach. She was also protective. She guarded the apartment, and did not like it when people would walk buy, and would stare at people, putting her paws up against the door window, starring. I had no idea she was sick/failing. She hid it. Maybe she was protecting me by appearing that she as fine up until the end. All I knew of the kidney disease, and her last vet visit, the blood results only showed she had kidney disease. Anyhow, maybe I will wait on finding a new cat. I have not found the perfect cat yet. I'm looking for a cat with personality and funny.
  16. They frown upon many things, I've noticed. And other times, I really don't like to talk. I'm actually quiet and reserved, and am not much for entailing what my plans are or what I did.
  17. Actually all, I’m a saver, and I spend when I am on vacation. And today at customs, they didn’t seem ‘excited’ about my purchases...
  18. Yep and a new bag at the Gucci store. I am having too much fun! I hope duty free means no duty at customs...
  19. I confess ~ I am in love with London Heathrow airport! Terminal 5 is where it is at with all the designers stores. Oh yes, love love love! Two designer bracelets later, a nice necklace, and Estée Lauder, it is time for champagne and a meal. And duty free!
  20. In London. Arrived on Sunday, and leave Wednesday. The flight was 8 1/2 hours from Seattle. It was a good flight, but a bit bumpy over Quebec, then straightened out over Newfoundland and over the Atlantic. I arrived, and the customs processed was quick. I scanned my passport, and did not speak to an agent. Then I took the Piccadilly Line into Central London. This is mainly what I came here for: I love this place! All the history! I find it so fascinating, and am like in awe/wow! Went to Harrods and other places. Went to the Dessert bar and had champagne and dessert. Then checked out the designer handbags and jewellery, and then went to the Pasta bar for more champagne and pasta. It was a champagne moment at Harrods. After that I took the Tube back to the hotel. Today I went to Westminster Abbey. That is a fascinating place as well, and with all the history! Now I am at a Pub having Fish and Chips, and Champagne. After this, I am heading to Kensington High Street.
  21. Drinkin’ champagne and eating the dessert at Harrods.  That’s how I roll ~

    Beautiful ~

@Tre Mac, it was very delicious and divine.  Fancy desserts and great meals are my thing.

  22. Ha! Just now my last name was totally butchered. Then when I boarded the airplane, it was pronounced correct. My first name is a common Irish name, and my last name is a common French name. I don’t know how anyone can butcher it.
