  1. I remember once flying up to Vancouver, and they needed passport verification checks, and many people had French last names, including me. The lady had a heck of a time pronouncing the last names including mine.
  2. I’ve always been brilac. I like brilac.
  3. I’m at the airport. My flight takes off in less than 3 hours. It was $900 to upgrade, so I will sit in Coach, drink, and spend my money in London. It took less than 30 minutes to check my bag, get my boarding pass, go through security, visit the Sub Pop store, and arrive at the terminal. It amazes me how much luggage people bring, like really big suitcases. Anyhow, I’m having Rose and eating a bisque soup.
  4. Drinkin’ the coffee and having the peppermint bark squares. Oh yeah! These taste excellent with coffee, and without coffee too. I ate healthy food too. I’ve been up since 5am.
  5. I would place the Canucks at #6 on the list behind the Winnipeg Jets. Montreal., yeah, that's #1. Have you been to the Bell Centre when they are playing??!!!!!!!!! Yeah
  6. Thanks, I was thinking the dark one too. I'm mostly packed. I packed my checked bag, and checked-in with the airline.
  7. Going to London, and deciding what to wear. These shoes or those shoes? It’s 2:54am. And these skinny jeans, hope they stretch out.
  8. I forgot to pay my Internet bill. I did it to myself. I forgot. And 10-15 minutes ago, all of the sudden, out of no where, I realized that I did not pay it. I called, and the bill went up $30.00. I went online, and viewed the bill, and the increase is not due to a non payment, that was a $10 charge. They increased the rate. They have other offers, so I will talk to them tomorrow in person, and about another provider that is offering the same service at a cheaper rate. I'm annoyed that I forgot, and that the rate was increased by $30 per month.
  9. My show is on!  I give it a 10 +++  Yeah, the Bachelor!

So happy it's back!   I knew Hannah B would regret not picking Peter...they seemed like such a perfect match.

  11. Does anyone know what the best/easiest/cheapest way to get from Heathrow Airport to Central London?  I don't know, and have not been there in a long time, and the last time I was there, I flew into Gatwick, and that was 2005.

Heathrow Express I'd say it's the fastest way to get to Central London, not the cheapest though. I know they give you a 50% discount for airline staff.

Tube's the cheapest but takes for yonks

      Have fun

Heathrow to Victoria Station is 50 mins on the tube and will cost £5.10.

Train with Heathrow Express to Paddington is 15 mins and would be £22.00 off peak and £25.00 peak.

Uber would be about 45 mins and be between £27- £35.

Check out the Scooter Uber rides.  Max speed is only 6 kph, and You have to push up hills, but they’re free!

  12. Got my hair cut and dyed. My couch is a mess, so I should clean that mess up in the background.
  13. It’s after 1pm, and I’m still in bed.  I just wanna sleep sleep sleep, but I have a hair appointment in a few hours.

I woke up at 9am today, but then went back to bed around 10am and slept until 1:40pm. Probably not worth it, but the holidays are nice like that.

  14. Woah this is what I found!  I was tearing my apartment apart looking for an adapter, but found this!  I know I  am going to be playing with this!

Loved my Easy Bake oven.  That’s basically how all Melmacians learn to cook.  Mine came with the original Cat Recipe books too!

Don't forget Alf, all those great afternoons while the two of us would play "Mystery Date Game":

I loved the easy bake oven.  I wonder if they still make them?  If so, that would be great to bake desserts with it while drinking champagne and watching Hockey!

  15. Today I didn't feel like going to Hot Pilates, and I had a hard time figuring out what my password was to login to cancel going to the class. Then I was like - Hot Pilates it is! Then I figured out my password an cancelled. I'm extremely tired right now, and just woke up. I booked a trip to London, and am going in a few weeks, and I have other things to take care of, and I wanted to get my hair done today. I keep getting it dyed back to dark brown, and it gets fading back to the highlights. And I haven't been to London in a long time, and I can't remember if I need my passport only or if I need anything else besides my passport to enter the country. I think I need my passport only. And I have other things to take care of. I have many things I plan to take care of today.
  16. Trying to decide if I should take a vacation in January, and either go to London, Iceland, Montreal, Vancouver or somewhere else, or in the Spring.  London is cheap if you fly coach, and if I decide on Montreal, I could alway do the stair climb up Mont Royal, catch a game, take selfies outside of the Bell Centre next to statues, and eat where I like to eat in Old Montreal.  For Vancouver, I can go to Whistler and enjoy the snow, ice skating, and drinking, and catch a game in Vancouver, and do a little shopping, and eat at my favorite dessert place.  London has quite the history, and Iceland, 6am walking around is great, and so is the Blue Lagoon.

Oh what states, cities, and provinces have you been to?  I'm going to London in a few weeks, and flying coach, haha.

I usually fly first class if it is long distances, but coach if it is short distances, and sometimes short distances first class if I am drunk.   But it was cheap to fly coach to London than first class...

I mean like Europe, Asia and Central and South America....First Class for me was only once I got bumped up on an international flight out of Singapore with my backpack/guitar :).

  17. Unfortunately Sally's condition took a turn for the worst. The doctor called me just after midnight, and we talked, and I decided the best decision was to put her down. The doctor advised that either way she was not going to survive. It was a hard decision, and I did what was best for Sally.
  18. RIP Sally. I will always love you. 06/30/05 - 12/26/19 Funny Sally moments / fun facts: Loved watching hockey with Brilac. Perked right up when the Montreal Canadiens came on. Went up to the TV once and batted at the puck while watching Canada play another team during the Olympics. Loved kitty treats just as much as Brilac loves dessert and candy. Guarded the apartment like a dog. Starred at people walking by, and starred at the neighbors outside. Loved only one type of cat nip toys. Got her at 6 weeks. She was the last kitten at the pet store and on sale for $10.00. She was not an attractive cat, but grew into a pretty cat. Brought me home a feather each day and placed it on my bed. This was when we lived on the Olympic Peninsula. Would watch me walk to work. I would leave for work, and a neighbor told me that 5 minutes after leaving, she would walk to the end of the sidewalk and watch me. My mittens became her cat toy. She would move the mittens around the apartment each day, putting them side by side in a different spot. Once I put them up high in the closet, and she immediately jumped up in the closet, and took them one by one with her mouth, dropping them over the railing. We were buddies. It was like we were on the same wave length. A pet sitter told me once that I was Sally's perfect person. Sally was a one person cat. Only liked one person, but tolerated others. Some, not so much. She didn't let the pet sitter in once. That was an interesting call...
