Anson Carter says race played a factor in Canucks contract negotiations
Gnarcore replied to Violator's topic in Canucks Talk
This says it all... of course they wanted to sign the young kids who were drafted 2nd and 3rd overall AND HAD MORE POINTS carrying this guy.... -
Exactly. I wasn't in any way demeaning her skills but there just isn't anyone but Valentina near her level right now.

Which is in large part of her being a woman. The fight game just isn't deep enough...especially at 145. Her and Shevchenko really are miles beyond everyone else.

The main event is going like expected. Was hoping Felicia was maybe able to get her up against the cage and work a take down but not seeing much potential for that thus far.

Jerry Stiller, comedian and 'Seinfeld' actor, dies at 92

One of the all time greats! -
Been to multiple ranges where no one is on site the vast majority of the time. Until someone started a business selling ammo and shooting tours there we'd only very rarely see the RCMP roll in now and again at the local one. When the Olympics were coming they expanded our range for the RCMP/military here. A few times they were there training and let us use their autos and barrett .50 cals. That was awesome!

Joe Biden Debates Donald Trump September 29

Paul Wolfowitz had been trying to establish a preemptive strike policy for years. He has a huge amount of responsibility here as well. Cheney was after profit while Paul was after political ideology. -
If the season ended today, does Hughes win the Calder?
Gnarcore replied to smokes's topic in Canucks Talk
Hughes should win for playing on a weaker non stacked team. But probably won't. -
Not even remotely. Read again. I said I am invested long on non oil related areas. With the crash there is opportunity here to get back into the sector though. EDIT: I own multiple motorbikes and a car...far from oil independent. Plan to buy another bike this spring. I generally wish Alberta good luck there even while posting a gif. This could be real ugly.

That's not how victim complex works.

That might actually force BC to develop our massive reserves offshore and blow away the inferior heavy crude you guys have. I support this idea. Jokes aside...two simple words could solve all of this: Energy East.

Maybe Alberta shouldn't have mismanaged the one resource of their banana republic. To go from over 20% royalties to just over 5% is a large factor in the financial state they're in. Alberta was screwed over by their own government along with the powers out east. That and that one resource is an inferior product these days to what the US pumping out in record numbers.

That doesn't work out too well with major shows or smaller gigs that are in high demand. Things like Roger Waters, Elton John, Rage Against the Machine or really good gigs at the Commodore will probably stay high right up until the band hits the stage.
