I was in the Dallas, Ft Worth area when the Texans were in town in Oct. There were Houston fans all over downtown Dallas so I got kinda caught up in the hoopla. I inquired about some tickets where I was slapped back into reality. It was the day before the game and all the cheap seats were bought up by the Houston fans so all that was left was mid lower bowl tickets for $400 that's 1,600 for my party family of 4. NO SALE!
I imagine it's a pretty white collar scene with ticket prices like that. With all the oil and gas in the area a lot of the good seats are snapped up by salesmen schmoozing clients.
Took a tour of the stadium a few days later, it is totally mind blowing.
Actually highly recommend the entire dallas ft worth area, if you ever wanna take in a game it's a beautiful area. Try to time it during the texas state fair, they deepfry everything it's like the 2nd biggest fair in the world.
