  1. 2029 Mock Draft Redrafts are fun but mock drafts are funner! With so many high-end talents in this draft, it will be interesting to see where the pieces fall. The self-proclaimed draft guy will shed some of his insights on how the top of the draft could go. There are many interesting pieces here, so this mock draft will be solely based on my opinion of things like player type/position/comp working together for a given player and where I expect them to be. Number 1 (RNK 3) - Riley Stanley Slated to be the cutest prospect in this draft, Riley Stanley has the makings of a total cutie. He's big, he's a PLAYMAKER, he's a center. This combination gives him the flexibility to play any forward position better than others. Not to mention his Scheifele comp brings forth shades of Keevin, a franchise rated player. Number 2 (RNK 6) - Vincent Fofana Being a center isn't all about offense, and Vincent Fofana provides nice contrast to Stanley for teams looking for a different type of center. This likely Patrice Bergeron regen, is slated to have tremendous potential in both ends of the ice. Being a Toews comp means he will be compared to Aidan Horton for years to come, a comparison Fofana is eager to take on. Number 3 (RNK 2) - Darnell Glass Referred to as "highly skilled" this reasonable sized and reasonably competent forward (at all positions) is looking to vie for a top 5 spot with his Reinhart comp and Finesse player type. His draft scout gives off the impression that his offensive ceiling is high, and if Brandon Edquist can pop 83 in 82 with good technical skills on the wing then maybe Glass can too. Number 4 - (RNK 10) - Semyon Vershinin WHAT?? Not the Patrick Kane comp??? Panarin wtf brutal. Sure Vershinin may not have the higher end PA that Bobby Bishop would, but this guy most certainly is going to be an electric winger. One look at his scouting report and you can see the offensive potential this guy oozes. Beyond that, one look at the WJC and it is easy to see that Semyon produced so big league in so little TOI, it would be hard to pass on this guy with a top pick. Not surrounded with the offensive talent of Team Canada, Vershinin tore up the WJC. All things considered, Semyon Vershinin appears to have the glaringly bright makings of an all-star offensive winger, and that might land him in the 'Risers' category of this draft. Number 5 (RNK 12) - Josh McMaster I know. There is a Pietrangelo comp. There is a Morrissey comp. Why McMaster? McMaster is a Severson comp (top pair) so unlikely to be very far off from the other two defenders. The big advantage McMaster has is that he is a playmaker as opposed to an offensive dman. Debatable, but in my personal experience Playmakers are far more consistent and reliable than Offensive. Maybe it depends on the player...,, Anyhow, you'll be getting a little more bang for your buck come contract time with a playmaker which is one advantage of Josh. However there is one much much bigger advantage of Josh...he's a Playmaker whose looking to be the defensive Ovechkin! -- check out what scouts have to say: its incredibly rare for any defender to get even 10 goals in the NHL. Time will tell what McMaster can bring...it is looking hopeful. Honorable Mention: Bobby Bishop -- A Patrick Kane comp. 'Nuff said. This Franchise or at worst Elite winger is a very favorable player type (sniper) and could very likely find his way into the top 5. Will he be a good pick or will he be more like Mikhail Skokov? Time will tell and the lack of proven success is why the Panarin comp was taken higher in this mock. Honorable Mention 2: Jan-Mikael Jääskeläinen -- He'll probably be nearly as good if not as good if not slightly better than some of the aforementioned centers above. He very narrowly missed and if it weren't for having so many centers in this list, I would have put him top 5. Biggest Buster: Andy Annisi - Ranked 1 Nolan Patrick comp? Great. A center with good passing and shooting? Great. A weak skater who was fortunate enough to be a center? Great. Annisi definitely has some potential and if I extended the mock draft he might as well go 9 or 10. But this guy deserves no mention near the Top 5, and the biggest reason for this is his type: Playmaker (Physical). What in the **** gross s*it is that. Have you seen the track records of guys who are snipers or playmakers and physical who were SUPPOUSED to be about elite but end up disappointing your team and subsequently your life? Filip Chytil -- supposed to be elite, dumb mofo instead PL Dubois - Supposed to be a top notch center, above average at best Michael Rasmussen! - Supposed to be very good, one of the worst players the league has ever seen instead. yes, some of these guys were created, but most of them did the bulk of their development modelling that of a PLY(PHY) or SNP(PHY) These are all the examples that come to mind. Andrey Streltsov might be the exception to the rule and something Andy can hope to become one day, but then again, Andrey is a 60pt SNP(PHY) on the Bruins 1st line while Vladimir Bure is a 70pt SNP on the Bruins 1st line. Regardless, if you think Mr.Andy 'chemically imbalanced' Annisi is gonna be any different than all the other fu*k**g stupid players above, have fun taking him so in the top 5. The warning has been written here, it is at your discretion to follow this scout. That's been the 1st mock draft write up! Hit that like and subscribe if you enjoyed the content and if you didn't ....well ...brutal.
  2. Brutal. Seems nothing has changed since I last dropped by. Aladeen was scummy then and if 6 more people think so now too I ain't gonna disagree Vote Aladeen Gift GC16
  3. Good job team. You did a dandy regular season job in the WOAT division. Last year we faced @Time Lord and his NYR, narrowly escaping their well oiled engine in a Game 7 OT of the 2nd round thanks to hero Kim Immonen Times change and heroes often emerge from the shadows... The Penguins call up Sigi Hauptman, Brody Guhle, Dakota Young and Vasili Marcou to prepare for this war. We hope reinforcements will not be necessary but we will be prepared for anything. Best of luck my amigo @Time Lord
  4. I don't like BJs posts or LLs so far
  5. That's an odd thing to judge based off lmao
  6. Yeah you saw scum open wolf Aladeen before but yet you bit for it completely. Why are you acting as if you got it all figured out when you have a bad history of doing just that
  7. Merry Christmas guys Can I gift everyone
  8. Conference Finals (3)Best Hockey Team vs (4) Chicago BBC (2)Seal Team Simp vs (4) Don's Cherries
  9. Penguins Season Preview: New Blood Moving a key piece in Bretzman was ultimately very challenging to do, but with Huberdeau sliding in, the new Penguin acquistion infuses hope and belief that this could be a year to remember. Strength From The Back The Penguins will yet again rely on their defensive group to bring their quick attack from the back. Led by the Franchise rated Dalibor Mlinar, the Penguins look strong on the blue-line being the same as last year, with an improving Ingram. Bounce Back Boys With MacKinnon having his worst year in the entire sim, players like him look to contribute more and strengthen the roster. Him and Pottinger must bounce-back as key 30 goal cogs for the Penguins to have a fighting chance at the top of their division. Everybody was Dem-Ko Fighting Making the third round for the first time all sim, it was clear that the team was fighting for newly acquired and new Vezina winner Thatcher Demko. His consistency led the team to an impeccable first 30 games of the year and closed it off with a president's trophy. Demko was perhaps the biggest reason for the surge and it is exciting to see what may be in-store for years to come. Party Ain't Over Till' Luca Pannewitz Sings The unsung Pannewitz sure does not show up on the stat sheet, but his relatively calm stats are just the presence needed to relax whacko Alex Ingram and absolutely mental Anthony MacMaster. As a Standard defender, its probable that although his stats aren't visibly impressive, he has some of the strongest positioning on the team. Pannewitz has yet to have his swan song but perhaps that year comes soon. For now, Luca remains strong, steady, and stable. A Mur-ray of light Mitchell Murray exploded onto the scene in his rookie season, being leaps and bounds more productive than just about any other skater. He's here to show that he was not a one-season wonder, but rather an excellent player who has excelled in all levels he's played in, and will continue to do so. Murray was the key offensive force to growing from 3rd to 1st in the division. His play is exciting, fans were quoted saying "He's the best Murray I've ever seen in Pittsburgh". 2028-2029 Penguins Lineup Huberdeau - MacKinnon - Mantha Fiala - Keller - Murray Immonen - Monahan - McGing Pottinger - Strome - Peavey MacMaster - Mlinar Ingram - DeAngelo Ebert - Pannewitz Demko
  10. If BW and MR are in and I'm still breathing then count me in!
  11. I also came here to mention emojis. I for one, would heavily like to nominate the use of the woozy face: Great react for when a post is silly but not funny. All-encompassing and applicable to multiple scenarios. How could you not fall in love with the woozy face? I know I have :woozy_face
  12. 2019 REDRAFT The 2019 draft was not the deepest of drafts but boy was there talent at the top. *disclaimer: the following draft is only based on players who are playing this year. If the player did not register a game this year they will not be in the list. #1 - Branden Marcoux - SELECTED 1 The Lemieux comp frustrated Flyers management but he surely has done nothing but excelled in Tampa Bay. One of the top centers in the league year after year and a clutch playoff performer makes Marcoux a no-brainer at #1. #2 - Mark Regula - SELECTED 23 Fantastic all-around defender who puts up points, hits, takes away and does all the things you'd expect from the blueline leader of a 2-time cup winning team. It is arguable that he is one if not the most dominant overall defender in the league. Almost as much of a cheat code as his confused partner up front. Teams like the Blackhawks are biting themselves wishing they had done more to trade up and secure this special talent. #3 - Dimitris Athanasiou - SELECTED 35 Greek: freak. This absolute stud is posting save percentages in the upper .910s. This sturdy and consistent force behind a revolving door of stinky defenders on LA is surely worth a top 3 or at the very least a top 5 pick in a redraft. LAK are certainly proud to own stable goaltending for the long-term. Although some do wonder if the high class gate-keepers of Greece are prone to massive collapses... #4 - Mack Kishnick - SELECTED 12 Big Stick Kishnick fails to disappoint. Absolutely one of the most dominant forces out of all draft prospects ever selected. The fact that he averages 65 points per season as a created player when all his created peers fail to succeed 50 regularly is insane. Not only is he dominant but he is consistent. Last year he had an incredible 85pt season amassing 235 hits, boosting team morale and enabling the Coyotes to become a playoff threat. #5 - Michal Krmas - SELECTED 2 Krmas has won a cup leading his blueline. This impressive feat comes only 2nd to Regula leading his team to two of them. Loved by a fellow Swiftie in GM Time Lord, this high end rated defender will likely end his career playing up tempo and steady hockey for the whole sim. Can't go wrong when in most games you're the best defender on the ice. Krmas will continue to impress and remain stable for the foreseeable future. #6 - Marko Scheweleff - SELECTED 4 Marko? Polo. Scheweleff has been an excellent selection, particularly over the last three years. In this time he has had one 62pt season, one 75pt season and one 84pt season! An incredible winger pace, it is arguable that had Kishnick not started off hotter, Scheweleff could have a strong case for the #1 winger in the entire draft. #7 - Jack Hughes - SELECTED 6 A consistent 60pt winger (or center?), Hughes has been almost as epic as he has been touted to be. One may wonder if Hughes had better teammates or made the playoffs once in a while, the league would take more notice. Hughes may have a side of him left unleashed. #8 - Garnet Balchan - SELECTED 18 Balchan is a fairly easy to spot out #3 Dman from this draft. Why? This dman class was absolute garbage outside of a select few. Byram? (take a peek hes really not that cute). Pannewitz? Fontana? (admittedly solid but not very special in what he brings to the table). This dman class was one you would want to avoid outside these top 3. Balchan has been a steady 35pt presence behind Hedman, bringing security to Tampa Bay and ensuring the once cup winners continue to remain competitive with their sturdy blueline. #9- Pranab Singh - SELECTED 36 Sipping Mango Lassi's on the beaches of Mumbai, this man was built to defend his honor. Although his points don't say much about his play, his defensive responsibility is as nice as jasmine rice. With an even 500TA to 138GA, it is evident that you won't find much better in the realm of defensive forwards. His playoff stats also indicate that being clutch is the norma' for him after his pre-game korma. Incredible! #10 - Peyton Krebs - SELECTED 8 Although he is a defensively responsible winger, his stock is a hurt a bit more than Singh on the basis of being a winger. Further, mid 50pts is just not all that impressive as an AA when a similar Paul Butler can smash those numbers as a Top 6 rated AA forward. At the end of the day, Krebs is still a valuable and versatile piece to any team's forward group and the Kings have a solid long-term piece here as well. HM - Kirby Dach - SELECTED 15 Kirby has been a solid center but has not particularly stood out compared to other elite and 1C peers. Perhaps the 55 point break-through will come one day... _______________________________________________________ Top 5 Disappointments Mario Colonnello - Very serviceable, but you look at the top 3 and you look at Colonnello and you go Luca Pannewitz - Very serviceable, but you look at the top 10 and you look at Pannewitz and you go Yannik Valenti - Very serviceable, but you look at the top 10 and you look at Valenti and you go Jacob Fontana - Very serviceable, but you look at the top 10 and you look at Fonana and you go Taden Bouvet - Although he has a Steve Mason comp, this 2nd goalie taken in the draft was nowhere near close to as capable as Athanasiou. Should have traded up up and away! ______________________________________________________ Top 5 Hidden "Gems" Caleb Hudson - this &^@#er went undrafted and signed in FA lmao. epic. literally a hidden gem. Selke winner. Stanley cup champ. Wowza Grant Bretzman - the elite guy is definitely a strong winger who has excelled in the WJC, AHL and Olympics. It has yet to be seen if he can up his game from 50pts to PPG like he did in previous competitions. Sasha Mutala - this cheesy pick led PK's bottom 6 for years. A solid shooter with some ability to take the puck away. William Pottinger - he slid to 60, he slid like 8 years unplayed and untested, then he popped off a 32 goal season at 26yo. It is uncertain whether this type of season can be expected from Pottinger again or if his most recent 37 point season is more realistic. Chad McInnis - this guy slid all the way to the 4th round! rated likely in the range of a top 6 center, a 45 point center is not at all bad for a pick beyond 90.
  13. Congrats on 3rd presidents trophy...hoo-rah. Figure it out in the post-season you pansies.

  18. Lol. Dreams do come true. I knew BJ was maf. Well nit right away of course. BW was in the pms. He was very constructive in his pms. Thats why i sed it was a game with in a game. Aladeen wanted him in the pms but was not happy mh involved him. I figured he wanted to know where bw stood. The pms really took away from the original game. People were easily led. So he was tp. Bw was left in the game for safe vote. But he didnt reveal baka. I made that out. 112 was so brazen. Her outburst and antics made her tp. Her false claims did very little but raise needless suspicion on other players. That would be stoopid for her to act that way with 2 maf left in play. That made her tp. Along with her outburst to quit playing lol. BJ played on BW and 112s hate on for me. He built up their tunnel vision. I thought it was BW at first then reread all bjs comments. But the 2 tps were so blinded. Even when I was saved...i told u all at my lynching that I was TP. No reason to lie... So regardless if I played this out and spit all this out. It would not have ended any different. Right? Lol gg.
