fun game to watch. i'd recommend watching the whole video

fairly dangerous with the puck all game. always able to find the open man. sees the ice fairly well. doesnt seem to just shoot the net randomly but a dangerous one
quite easily gets stripped off the puck by bigger guys though

    excellent debut for Palmu

good energy, hustle and scoring chances (imo the most for the team

excellent ice time for first pro game ~14min (give or take)

could use more explosive skating for his game

Well, I promised you guys some updates, but since someone is posting every play he makes - I don't think I need to talk about that. However, what I'm going to continue to talk about is the whole "Pettersson and Dahlén needs to play together". I was convinced at first, but now I'm not too sure. He did play with both Lundberg and Pesonen today - two of the best players in the SHL. Pesonen, superb skill and with a lot of knowledge, and Lundberg being a "space maker" for Pettersson is pretty much the best that you could ask for if you want him to develop.

Pesonen was very excited the other day when I had a chance to have a chat with him! He said: "It's amazing, just to see that type of hand-eye coordination is mind blowing. It makes me super excited every time I'm on the ice to see what he can do, just for the fact that you don't really have a clue. He's truly a wizard" then I asked him what he thinks about playing as a centerman (he's usually a winger) and he said: "I think its fun, it's a bit more work if I'm being honest. But just to be able to feed the puck to Elias and to see him glow, that's everything. I feel like a proud Dad"

So, with that being said, I think Elias will do just fine without Dahlén. The Lakers has an idea of what Canucks wants, and they will surely deliver that

i have noticed Pesonen (he's the #22 right?) making some nifty puck skills in tight areas. i too think they'll do well together. thought the coach gave Elias a lot of ice time after the goal albeit ~8min to go in the 3rd and got a first shift in 3v3 OT. again showed a lot of defensive awareness throughout the game....also counted quite many of him on his knees

    previous game

big size can skate in terms of straight ahead. decent puck pursuit mentality
    good along the boards
seems to have soft hands. dangles a lot (plessantly surprised)
like doing coast to coast junior stuff
right handed on left point pp. shows good point shot during pp

  5. time to bring Virtanen's life back again

had a great game just like the one i've posted some weeks ago

the only thing i'd want to see him do more is actually hitting the net...

oh and his regular linemates were Pelletier 23 and Kunyks

Is he ok? His teammate absolutely leveled him going for a big hit in front of the benches. Ouch. That straightaway speed is very impressive. The Michigan Rocket.

came back for a few shifts after but didnt came back and 3rd...:( hopefully a precautionary thing as he skated around okay in those shifts

not much need to be said here. glad to have him back. game ended fairly early pretty much at the end of 1st

needs to put more efforts in the d zone way too casual. even though he missed 6 games or something, i've fairly been critiquing his lack of defensive efforts compared when he's in the o zone.
