  1. There are too many, I just really appreciate there is a community of dedicated Canucks fan who we can share and talk about our favourite team/sport. I made an account and migrating over to the new forum. Hopefully most of if not all of us will all be there.

We used to joke on here about Hanson having hands of stone and well being with the twins sure helped with the 22 goal season.

Arsdeep has very good hands in close and a good shot I see him having better offensive game than our good friend.

WE considered Hansen as "hands of stone" during our contending years from 2009-2012, but then with the arrival of Megna, Chaput etc. in the Benning era, they redefined "hands of stone" because they were offensive black-holes where the play dies on their sticks.

Av's will likely be competing for the cup this year again. They already have plans to keep Landeskog out for the regular season to be magically ready to do for playoff ala Stone and Kucherov.

That's the new model.  And doubt it will change anytime soon.    Stone I believe more than bud-lite boy.    Although I did find his shirt company a little hilarious rubbing it in after (118 million over the cap - we don't care - etc)

This is a really stupid loophole, and I absolutely hated when teams abuse it the way they did. But on the flipside, if your team has enough depth to keep a player Kucherov, Stone or Landeskog calibre out of the line up for pretty much the majority or entire season and still be comfortably in a playoff spot, that team is already very stacked to begin with anyways. Unlike us, one injury to our top guys and we are looking at another top 10 or top 5 pick.

Beautiful signing, just what we needed, I really liked his game last season. Nothing fantastic but could give our 3rd line some offence if we throw guys like Beauvillier and Garland out there.

Blueger and Aman can take turns on the fourth line but having 3 solid bottom 6 centers is huge - one can just bump over to the wing.

    Solid off-season acquisitions.

And none of them take up more caphit that are anywhere close to what Benning's bottom 6 were getting

    Why is Beagle here D:

I think it is probably because he was brought here to be a "leader in the lockerroom" and a "veteran prescence in the bottom 6" on a caphit that is way too high even for what he is suppose to bring to the team. Within 2 years of signing his 4 year contract, he isn't even worth a league minimum contract. I don't think he should be on this list, but if he were available as a UFA after his first 2 years as a Canuck, he would at best be signed to a league minimum contract if not won't even get one but he was taking up $3 million in cap space and it is part of the reason why we couldn't retain Tanev & Toffoli in the 2020 off-season. Blame should be placed on Jim Benning.
