&^@#ing Ottawa traded him for Brassard because Melnyk is too cheap to pay him. Their fan base deserve better. -
AV is a winning coach (regular season) since his days with the Canucks. He definitely brings consistency out of a good group of players and have the core to play well. He is a good coach for a team for atleast the first 3-5 years he is with them.

I think JB has already used his get out of jailed card by firing the coach in Willie D. If anything, JB's job is on the line as well. I like a lot of things JB did, I think if in the event JB gets fired, the new guy come in just get to inherit the core JB built and gets all the credit.

For the rest of the season the Canucks team just have to focus on one thing: do whatever they can to win as many games as possible. My days on team tank has been over. Don't care what happens, just cheer for them to win every game. Hoping them to lose and get a 1st round pick and win the draft lottery days are over. It is time to not accept losing. -

They are not playing bad hockey, just no bounce and no breaks. This group deserves a playoff spot with the way this season has gone this far. But the NHL isn't a league just handing out participation ribbons, we will see if the boys can string some wins together to get back in on this. It does gets harder and harder. -

The guy won't get the &^@# off the ice, he was just out there just before the goalie was pulled and then just decides to stay on. Sometimes he should get off the ice and let someone to replace him -

I wish the remaining games this season gets postponed for about a month because of the outbreak of the corona virus. You know, for the "health and safety of the general public..." Just so we can get Markstrom and Boeser back to finish off the rest of the year -

Unfortunately we are just cursed... Worst time to lose key players to injuries... -

Wtf Melnyk, the standards in most restaurants these days for tips are at least 15% and more if it is dinner. Heck as an everyday guy, I go with standard 15% top. 12% is on the low end and 8% is just pathetic -
Travis Green was on the 31 thoughts podcast this week and shared us a story when he was younger and as a player. He was a kid, thought he had a good training camp but didn’t make the islanders line up out of camp and was sent to the AHL. At the start of the year, Green was lighting up the AHL with points and one of the top scorer in the AHL at the time. Two of the Islanders top 6 players were injured and they were calling players up. Green thought for sure he was gonna get called up and already started packing his stuff before he got a call. He was told by his coach he wasn’t one of the players they called up. He wasn’t happy about it but his coach told him “trust the process and you will get called up when the time is right. Right now, the timing isn’t right.” Years later, Green was really thankful he didn’t get called up then. He realized he wasn’t ready at the time and if he were called up then, he might have ruined his confidence and he would never have had the NHL career he had.

Be cautious of it, but do not fear it. Wash your hands, keep good hygiene practice. Find ways to improve your immune system (e.g. vitamins, workouts etc.). Still enjoy and live your life as you normally do and hope for the best.

The owners would rather post-pone the season than having no spectators. What's the point of these games for the owners if they don't make money? I can see the league potentially postpone the season for 2-4 weeks before resume playing. This allow people who are infected to reach their incubation period and be quarantined from going out in public.

I would still rather face Edmonton than Vegas in a playoff match up. As a team, we don't play well against Vegas at all. Well right now, I just want them to make the playoffs, I don't even care where they are seeded nor who they face in round 1, just make the playoffs please! -

That's stupid. If I were managing the Panthers organization, I would either do it earlier in the season when Vancouver was in town or wait until next sesaon's game against Vancouver at home to do it.
