Ignoring Bettman, I have a feeling since Tocchet is the coach, he will come up with a trap system for us to win the game 1-0
Jk, but let’s win it all again this year, get some extra cash to our boys at the event!
Our blue line is a lot weaker than the 2010 Blackhawks. I chose the 2010 Blackhawks as a comparison as our core players are roughly the same age as their core players in 2010. In net, Markstrom > Niemi. But the blue line is a lot weaker. The Blackhawks had Keith, Seabrook, Campbell and Byfuglien as their top 4. Our current blue line isn’t good enough to win a cup.
If he can come back healthy and be the player he was advertised to be, it is like a TDL acquisition. Same with the potential of a Tryamkin return from the KHL.
How about this:
1). Directly locking someone’s face during a scrum = a $5000 fine
2). Spitting on someone’s face = 3 games suspension
To me, both should be suspension worthy.
Voted no. I am over with my anger of how he left the team, but there are so many deserving players who hasn’t made it on the ring of honour. And it is a ring of honour for a reason. To me the next guy should be Alex Edler. I would’ve included Luongo but him choosing to retire screwing us with the cap-recapture penalty (I still love Lou and he will always be my favourite Canucks goalie), he shouldn’t be on it as well. To be there you have to be heart and soul player of the team while every decision you made have the team’s best interest at heart as well. Edler took a pay cut and less term just to remain in Vancouver this summer, it proves how much he loves this city and this team.
Of course, after the best Canucks prospects graduated into our NHL roster, the two loser Alberta teams wants to be part of it again. Kind of wish we do this without them and invite other teams to be part of it instead.
Jk, Holland made it happen kudos to him. But it was really the Flames that were bitching about not having it in Red Deer instead. We should do one without the Flames cuz &^@# them.
