  1. HELP: I'm helping my little cousin out with his GR6 speech about growing up youngest in the family. Anyone have any ideas for the introduction?

^ I like it, but the question doesn't make sense.

    3. Odd.

      Odd.

Start off with a bang to engage with the audience. Also tell your cousin to have a good posture, don't be nervous, and speak clearly. As well as be enthusiastic and engaging.

People tend to not listen when the speaker is sluggish, nervous, boring/doesn't know what on earth he's talking about.

      Just some steps.

I wouldn't say "don't be nervous", you should tell him what to do and how to do it. "be confident= have good posture and speak at a loud, steady pace". Practicing the speech over and over again would be great for helping with this.
