    Joseph Labate has been one of my favourites so far. Plays physical and aggressive, big and mean, and plays hard-nosed. Would be a very good bottom 6 player for us if he pans out.

      For whatever reason, I always remember him as the player the Canucks picked four selections before Johnny Gaudreau. 

       

      I don't have any issues with it though. No way the Canucks were going to draft a 5'6" player after they lost the 2011 Cup Finals the way they did. Plus, like you said, LaBate's got pretty decent upside.
