  1. The world championships, but he means he'll set the scoring record for most points in that tournament (out of all U-20's to have ever played).
  2. You and 48MPHSlapshot need to stop with this. there's nothing wrong with that at all.. At this point he's a lock for the team, but the last two years IMO were anomalies for rookies scoring at a torrid pace right out of the gate. He could start out like Horvat or Nolan Patrick did, and people in this city would call him a bust, because of the incredible expectations people put upon these players. Although I'm not going to shove down the weight stuff (guys like Klingberg entered the league at 6'2 170lbs), but he still needs to get stronger, and many thought his play in NA has been quite spotty. we'll see how he translates. He' an exciting player for sure.
  3. I havent heard his whole album but i'm not a really a j cole fan. though I did like ATM.
  4. jeez. Not discrediting Pettersson's success in any way but it goes to show what kind of team he's playing with...
  5. Haha, I love that we're already writing off the other team.. but tbh weren't they outscored 10-1 or something like that in both games combined?
  6. Soft top 9... one whole line doesnt make up for that soft top 9.
  7. Definitely not Lucic slow though
  8. Real excited with his potential. I see Patrick Maroon written all over him
  9. Dahlen isn’t twiggy at all. Guy is stocky and built. I can see him playing at 195-200lbs. A gritty player that isn’t afraid to go to the net. And because of that aspect that he has, i think Dahlen might actually take Baertschi’s spot next season.
  10. His father Ulf was known for that shuffling edge work. I remember Shinkaruk doing that same shuffling move in 2014 scoring those 2 pre season goals. The only other player I’ve seen do that is Jeremy Bracco from The leafs.
  11. Besides the 53 and being an inch shorter and 25lbs lighter than Horvat, their skating style is actually so reminiscent. Dahlen kinda reminds me more of a Kucherov with his style of play. May not be as good as him, but skating style and that overall thickness that they both have at 5'11. Dahlen's also a great finisher as evident with his allsvenkan highlights of this past season. Both 2nd round picks and both drafted around the same area. Needless to say, we absolutely fleeced Ottawa.
  12. Dahlen was also awarded an assist on the second goal. So he has a goal and an assist so far through half the game.
  13. Odd.

    Olli Juolevi | #48 | D

juolevi's season over. team lost in O.T
  14. Jesus, not even 1 year and this page is at 400. Has to be a record. Though Virtanen had like 400 pages in a span of a few months
  15. Head Coach was one of the 15 that were killed.
  16. His skating ability is off the charts. He scores a lot of impossible goals. Kid's a beauty. He seems pretty thick for a 5'11 player but he's listed as 176lbs. He's probably our most NHL ready prospect we have.
  17. Did he demand that he want captaincy? No. Every one would probably want to be captain, if someone asks you if you are ready to be captain, chances are you aren't gonna say no lol. Also, the fans here have been labeling him our next captain practically ever since he's ever been a canuck. Horvat isn't 19 or 20 years old. He's 23. Except he's as mature as a 30 year old veteran. He deserves every right to be our next captain. And quite frankly, he possess all the traits of a good leader. So I don't know how far you're going to take this, but you are insinuating that Horvat is somehow a locker-room problem, which he is so obviously opposite from that.
