  1. Vanek-Horvat-Boeser Baertschi-Sutter-Virtanen Sedin-Sedin-Granlund Gagner-Dowd-Eriksson please
  2. meh, not the end of the world. Now, it's time for him to own the SHL.
  3. Virtanen played with eriksson and henrik yesterday. You might be thinking of another game
  4. I thought he was decent tonight. The Foote brothers were the best players out there though. Cal Foote was very mobile and quick on the back-end and Nolan played like your prototypical PWF. His team had a real bad start and they were effectively shut down by the Giant's trap style of hockey. Clearly Lind's playmaking ability is what really stands out from his game. It's nice to have a playmaker like Lind with goalscorers like Boeser, Pettersson, Gadjovich, Dahlen, etc. He's the clear play driver for Kelowna and is used in all situations. On a side note, I also really liked Kyle Topping. Has good wheels and good hands, strong kid and was tremendous at winning board battles. Would like for us to snag him in the 3rd or 4th round come draft day. Putting up a PPG and you can make the argument that Topping's two-way game is whats helping Lind flourish.
  5. bruh william karlsson with 23 goals.... Jonathan Cheechoo 2.0?

      RRypien37

Why? He just turned 25 and has developed nicely. No one on the Vegas roster has Jumbo Joe play making ability.

Karlsson has great defense too though. He's a far more complete player than Cheechoo was.

  6. FTR, it's really hard to keep track and compare points from the 3 leagues as the commentator who mentioned that stat said he didn't know where the source came from but just knows he's 3rd in the WHL in primary points. I assume he's somewhere in top 10 in the CHL (primary points) as out of the 56 points that he has so far (in 34gp), all but 5 are primary. Again, it's really hard to find advanced stats in the CHL.
  7. My bad, I meant WHL*. still very impressive.
  8. holy crap Ronning made a ridiculously move through the defense to score his 40th goal in 45 games......
  9. Lind is 3rd in the entire WHL in primary points.
  10. Kyle Topping behind the net working really hard got the puck to Lind who then fed Bruggen Cate just near the bottom of the hash-marks. Relatively quiet night for Lind so far 15 min into the 2nd period. Lind extends his point streak.
  11. Lol Gaudette beaver tapped at least 20 times in on one PP. Looked quite frustrated that his teammate didn't pass to him. Guy has a bit of an attitude eh. We need some of that attitude in our line-up.
  12. Man that tape job looks real ugly . but hey, it works for him!
  13. 5'11 but he looks like a real stocky kid.
  14. Yeah, I'm thinking he'll still be available near the 3rd round, probably not the 4th round. He had pretty respectable numbers as a rookie last season basically 0.50 average. Definitely a player we should at least consider. I'll be watching tonight's game. They verse the Giants.
  15. very impressive indeed. Also, Kole Lind's linemate Kyle Topping is eligible for this year's draft. Has 45 points (16g 29a) in 42gp so far. He's currently under the radar and I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a 2nd rounder come draft day. I think we should snag him.
  16. freaking Barzal with 3 points already and not even half way through the game

      Dat Eastern Conference tho

  17. We need to come up with a nickname for rick dhaliwal
  18. You're not wrong, but the way you say it is pretty incensing to some posters. I agree that Dahlin and Andersson were the best players out there for team sweden. I'd probably have Pettersson ahead of Nylander as Nylander was very brutal at times. For a player whos playing in his 3rd WJC, Nylander was a bit disappointing. Put up points yeah, but he was very brutal out there not giving his 100% and Ferraro calling him out saying he needs to move his feet more, at times was very stationary. Had a crap ton of turnovers particularly in the semi finals against USA and overall was just painful to watch. Andersson Dahlin Pettersson Nylander Soderlund

@Fateless yah Zadina may have moved himself up a notch or two with his WJ performance. I haven't seen the post-WJ's rankings yet.

So really for the Canucks at worst we're getting a puck moving D or if we manage to get lucky maybe something special. I just can't do the planning for Dahlin thing tho its too disappointing. I prefer to go worst case and be pleasantly surprised if anything changes.

    3. Vinny in Vancouver

      Vinny in Vancouver

First try. 1. Edmonton; 2. Vancouver; 3. Buffalo. I guess I can "live with" Svechnikov or Sadina. But I guess it won't matter since Edmonton will win the Cup for the next 10 years anyways.

Ran it 20 times and we got a top 3 pick just once.

  20. I don't think he's quite NHL ready yet. In the finals he was out-muscled and a lot of times was neutralized due to Canada's run and gun style which is vastly similar to the NHL. He needs to gain strength, not necessarily weight, strength. I noticed he got knocked off the pucks a couple of times and was ineffective without the puck in his own end. He's definitely skilled and possess a wicked shot no question about it. I think he'll be in Utica next year, kinda like the path Will Nylander had. Have him play a full season in the AHL, call him up if need be. Let him dominate there. Pettersson, Gadjovich, Lind, Dahlen, could all potentially play in Utica next year. That's quite a boost.
  21. man he has an ugly tape job. but it works!
  22. I think he stays there out of respect for Timra since it's where everything began for him. And I think we'll see him in Utica at the start of next season unless he's lights out in pre-season.
  23. So he's like a Phil Kessel? Dahlen looks quite stocky too (has chubby cheeks) Also do you know if he's going to Utica soon? Or is he going to finish the rest of the season in sweden?
  24. Sam Bennett at age 21 already going bald

Was actually a decent tilt! Hoping to see Ferland or Tkachuk vs Bieksa’s super man punch!
