  1. another point for pettersson on the PP. Lias Andersson looks like Vrbata lol
  2. I can't find anywhere about this flu thing that's everyone is talking about. Might not be true. I mean if he had the flu, he wouldn't play.
  3. That's why I feel like Pettersson will be a winger at the NHL level. Just like the posters above said, Pettersson needs someone that gets the puck to his stick, much like Boeser. That is why I think a Pettersson/Horvat/Boeser line makes a whole lot of sense. Pettersson is the "playmaker" (we all know this kid can shoot the puck as good as Boeser, maybe even better), Horvat is our Brendan Morrison, and Boeser is goalscorer. IMO, that is one helluva line that can do some serious damage. With Horvat being the glue that holds the line together.
  4. but then they got Heinen, Bjork, DeBrusk (1 out of 3 picks), McAvoy, and much more so they don't really care anymore. They also got Pastrnak at 25th overall in 2014 who is looking to be the best player from that 2014 draft class. Plus Boeser wasn't on most people's top 15 list. Though they could have drafted Kyle Connor and Matthew Barzal. Minnesota should be kicking themselves repeatedly for passing on hometown kid Boeser..
  5. Does anybody know if it's worth to subscribe to WHL live and watch streams there? Don't know how great of a broadcasting the WHL has. As far as I know it's not as good as the OHL's or the QMJHL's.
  6. Reason why Brayden Burke doesnt have a contract is because of his $&!#ty attitude which got him traded twice.
  7. I love the swagger and the passion he brings. Such a real pest. Eligible for Utica next year too.
  8. Barzal didn't get a point!. Hope Boeser runs away from the rookie point race and gets a couple tomorrow.

      He went pointless? Pfft. Bust.

Seriously though, this is the perfect time for Boeser to pull ahead. I know it's a big ask, but if the Boeser/Gagne/Vanek line has another night like yesterday, Boeser should be firmly in the drivers seat for the Calder.

Connor and Barzal. Boeser was ranked a little bit lower. Though Minnesota had a chance to draft the hometown kid but took Eriksson Ek who's struggled mightily in the NHL (albeit still a rookie). Though Wild fans are pretty pissed and sad they missed out on him.
  10. havent seen lockwood in a long time
  11. wouldn't mind trading the veterans at the deadline if we don't look to be a playoff team. Better chances at getting Dahlin.

One of Dahlin or a top rated defenseman in this upcoming draft should 'compensate'.

I said the same thing. Though I'm 91% sure Freidman reads CDC.

Cause he's not on the scoreboard yet that's why!
  15. Just for now, Gadjovich leads the WJC tournament in points.
  16. Gadjovich looks like Bertuzzi with that buzz cut.
  17. Yeah, theres long ways to go before Lockwood makes the jump to pro. And even still, ideally he plays a season or two in the minors.

HF boards is a gong show. It's always "My team and my players are better than yours!" mentality. You cannot have a single rational conversation. Then we have insecure leaf fans getting all emotional and worked up because their supposed generational player isn't actually generational when Boeser and Barzal are on pace to have to have 80 point seasons. I find that most of the OJ trash talking is from Flames fans because of the Tkachuk/Juolevi dumb comparison. Most other people actually speak highly of Juolevi. I think if Juolevi continues to do well in Finland and has a good camp, he easily makes this team next year. Like Thomas Chabot with the Sens, have him rotate between Utica and Vancouver, see what happens.
  19. Dahlin and Pettersson had great chemistry going especially on the PP. Dream come true if we were to draft him. The injuries to Horvat, Baertschi, and Tanev as well as others are blessings in disguise really. Probably the only time I'll ever "cheer" for player(s) getting injured on our team. We are now 27th in the league and everyone below us and above us have a game in hand.
  20. Lockwood just drilled someone and got a 2 minute penalty. absolutely obliterated the guy
