We could give him an opportunity that Rangers couldn’t due to how strong they are on the wing. They have Panarin and Kreider on the left side alone. Guy plays 3rd line minutes with no PP time. Put him beside Miller or Pettersson and see how he does. I’d imagine he’d get an extra 10-15 points. He’s still got talent.

Also, I urge others to not use any names when speculating who’s involved until the names are officially released. There have been cases of people being sued for defamation (in general) just from message boards and tweets as noted in a Reddit post I read.

While I agree 100%, I don’t think that is likely the case, unless there’s criminal charges. Of course, teams could pull the good ol Slava Voynov to the involved players, however, even Voynov had criminal charges.

Should be pretty soon till we get the names. this is only the beginning. There will be a ton of lawsuits and very long and drawn out court proceedings. After the whole Chicago debacle, NHL will be under intense scrutiny and pressure.

The thing is, they speak a different language. It’s hard to often gauge excitement especially when you consider other languages have different inflections, tone and pitch. Also, being able to understand what you’re hearing also helps with a better viewing experience, so I doubt I’d be switching over to the Punjab versions any time soon. The goal calls are pretty sick though, can’t mistake that excitement and passion.

I highly doubt Hoglander will get waived. Allvin’s turned down many offers from teams like Carolina, Ottawa, and NY in recent trades. Garland or Myers will be traded, pretty confident.

I can’t see Hoglander not making the team honestly. He’s always been a stand out in every training camp and is the most fit player on the team. All he has to do is bring it in training camp and Tocchet will have him on board. He’s a Tocchet type player for sure

Honestly, it’s been 50 years since Maki’s death. Times have changed. It may have had significance back then, right now it doesn’t. And @Elias Pettersson is right, that guy nearly killed someone over a damn game. All jerseys except 10, 12, 16, 19, 22, 33, and 99 should be made available. Im not particularly interested in retiring a jersey worn by a player who died half a century ago now. They should set up a memorial though, but have his jersey available.
