  1. We need to be disciplined and not give up a penalty, otherwise it’s an easy GA. Oilers aren’t all that great 5 on 5. Also, we need to pepper Skinner with shots.
  2. I’d do this trade in a heartbeat. Liljegren is Tanev lite and would be great along Hughes.
  3. Jason Botchford is somewhere smiling down on Petey. Nobody loved Petey more than he did. RIP
  4. Of all the depth guys, even in his 2 games, it’s evident Pederson is most definitely an NHL’er and the best of the bunch. He’s very gifted offensively and plays a 200ft game. Kuzmenko/Petey duo is easily the best we’ve had since the Sedins. I don’t think you can seperate those two, let alone trade Kuzmenko.
  5. Literally would have been a 5-0 game without Pettersson. He’s literally the heart soul and brain of the team.
  6. Hughes shoots on his side as he's crossing over while the puck is behind him. He's got to learn to shoot while facing the net to fully maximise his transfer. He's got no power if he has to pull and shoot.
  7. Wished we had a Matt Cooke so we can headhunt guys like Soucy. Hopefully he gets his shit rocked.
  8. Meh, to be honest he’s pretty undersized right now granted he just turned 18 like 2 weeks ago. He’ll be in the NHL when he’s 21-22, which is honestly great especially playing with grown men. He had 5 points in 13gp in the KHL as a 16-17 year old. That’s pretty insane.
  9. So Michkov can’t play in the NHL because of his KHL contract until 2026?
  10. Would love for us to go after Cernak, another one of those.
  11. Just a side thought anybody else completely forget Pearson exists lol. I don’t see any update about him and don’t even know his injury.
  12. This team had an unstable Torts and 2 rookie coaches in Desjardins and Green. We needed a coach who knows how to win, has had success in the regular season, brings a winning culture, and is one of the most experienced and respected people in the game. Bruce was the right coach without a doubt. His age doesn’t mean shit, football and NBA coaches coach well past their 70’s, if they still have enough left in the tank. So if you’re using age as the reason, that’s not a viable reason. The structure is not the problem here. Bruce’s teams in the past were ALWAYS top 10 in scoring and top 10 in GA. Unfortunately, when you have leaders who are passive bent passengers with no drive like your boy Horvat, Miller, Boeser, OEL, Myers, coupled with borderline questionable defensive players, with $0 cap space, you will find that no amount of structure or experience will be able to fix what is clearly rotten in that group of players.
  13. Yes, because firing 4 coaches in a span of 5-6 years is definitely part of the solution. Put Trotz, Laviolette, Quennville, Gallant, or anyone of those top tier coaches into Bruce’s place and you’ll find out much quickly it’s the quality of players, not the coaches. Bruce is the 2nd most winningest coach in the NHL. You don’t achieve that with “no structure”. You’re just regurgitating what Dim Jim 2.0 (who has done nothing alongside Alvin to rectify the situation) said when 2 months before you wouldn’t have said a word about his structure. Your boy by the way played astonishing last night, surely he’s a recipe for a winning team.
  14. I’ve seen better effort from the Canucks between 2016-2019 then these last 2 years.
  15. 2020-present Canucks are going to be remembered as one the worst era of absolute uninspired hockey in franchise history
