Every team is bound to lose some one-run games but with a sample size that large some blame can start to be placed. I think it's due to the team being largely unable to manufacture runs, something KC did a tremendous job of en route to the WS last year. If they're not hitting home runs and doubles they don't often produce enough offence. And while I totally understand his reluctance to steal bases when you've got hitters like EE and JD in the lineup, sometimes you've gotta throw that philosophy out and do your best to produce a run. Pillar and Upton are both legitimate threats to steal a base. Let em loose once in a while.
