Yeah as much as it sucked to watch Doc go, I was happy to see him pitch in Philly who was one of the best teams in baseball at the time and just won a WS a year or two prior. That rotation they assembled of him, Hamels, Cliff Lee, and Roy Oswalt was amazing. I just wish they could've gotten something more concrete in the deal, like a semi-proven young player (though to be fair I can't think of any from that Phillies roster- they were almost all prime-aged guys). Some teams strike gold in package deals like the Indians did for Bartolo Colon (they got Cliff Lee, Grady Sizemore, and Brandon Phillips out of Montreal) while other teams strike out. The Jays struck out.
