My thoughts exactly. Typically you'd expect a fair amount of production from the first base position, but in a lineup like the Jays I don't think it's such an issue. JD, JB, EE, Saunders, and now Tulo provide plenty of punch. Smoak still provided 18 HR's and 59 RBI last year in only 328 PA's/296 AB's- pretty solid production anyway. I like having Smoak at first with the Jays current lineup.
