(Proposal/Discussion) Value of Players

Need to also take into account the need of the other team. There's a GM at the other side of the trade that is also looking to improve his team. Boeser for Dumba ignores the Wild's need. Despite Dumba struggling Guerin is looking to get a C1 in return or a C2 plus a pretty significant add. They are so desperate for top-6 Cs that they are playing Galchenyuk at C - his past teams think he's not a C but a winger. Guerin and himself thinks he's a winger yet they have him at C because otherwise it's Kunin - another winger that has to play C. Moving Dumba for a C should make them better. Moving him for a winger is more likely to weaken them while wasting one of their best trade chips. -
Boeser is skating with the team today and could be back before the end of the season. They have 6M in LTIR cap space which they will no longer have once he is ready to return.

I didn't hear the interview so wouldn't have known to look if you didn't mention it. -

Looks like it. CapFriendly and the AHL have all 4 of their paper transactions. -

Brisebois was on the AHL roster on the 24th. He was brought up later. As per tweet above - Batchelor says MacEwen was papered down. It's not on CapFriendly or the AHL page. Maybe they just missed it. -

No one appears on the AHL transaction page. https://theahl.com/stats/transactions/390/65?page=1 But there's this - so maybe he did get sent down but the AHL normally captures all those movements: -

MacEwen hasn't been papered down at the TDL - he can't play in the post-season for Utica. EDIT - see a few posts further. Batchelor says he was papered down although he doesn't appear on the AHL transaction page or on CapFriendly which is where I looked. -

Another win for Schneider after shutting out Anaheim. This time against St Louis where he stopped 31 shots for a 4-2 victory. St-Louis was on an 8-game win streak. -
Roster limits are lifted at the trade deadline. Teams still have to be cap compliant though. There's also only 4 regular recalls allowed past that date - emergency recalls are unlimited.

The players who are on a team's reserve list don't have to go through entry waivers. Don't think it means that players can then simply freely join at any time. That 13.23 article is in the section on waivers. Tryamkin could well be in the same situation as Honka, Puljujarvi. Both are on their teams' reserve list but can't play this season because they've passed the 1 December cut-off date and weren't on loan abroad by their teams. 11.4 Signing Deadline for Group 2 Free Agent. An SPC for a Group 2 Free Agent will be rejected and will be null and void ab initio (i.e., the Player's Free Agency and contractual status shall revert to the status he held prior to signing his SPC), if it is not signed and filed with Central Registry by 5:00 p.m. New York time on December 1 in the then current NHL Season.

Authorities are even recommending not holding games. Gate revenue could be less than projected.
