  1. Too much change and we risk another slow start/chemistry gap. My prediction is Dries, and Studnika, Burroughs. I think we are stuck with BB and Garland for a bit.
  2. If Tochet wants to test the youth for next year, why is he overlaying the stars...? Looks like he cares more about his CV, than the team's future.
  3. Understatement: "at times". More like" for more than a decade".
  4. Despite the recent team gel. I'm still hoping the Nucks don't climb any further up the standings. I already look forward to next year. Pretty much don't care about the remaining games. But still watch...if that makes any sense.
  5. About as meaningful as your ability to post independently.
  6. I can't get over the Mathews back check on Petty's shorty. Good job nucks now back to the tank
  7. If only Demko could stay on IR a little longer. This team is making strides toward a tope 3 pick and wouldn't that be sweet for 24/25. TCT
  8. These games have been fun lately. I have no concerns about wins, just want to see player progress. Need to make room for more farm players and need additional size gor for the balance. GCG!
  9. That was a good game. the Nucks played well against a superior team and would have won but for goaltending. And we are closer to a top 5. Keep the tank rolling boys.
  10. Gino was so humble and caring off the ice. I asked him one day, what brings you to Vancouver Island? He was on the ferry to Victoria. He indicated he was going to a First Nation community to give a motivational speech to the kids. Can't remember exactly but I think it was Esquimalt First Nation. Nice guy. RIP
  11. I see the tank is getting stronger. But give the home crowd some toughness and wins. Enough with the skating away from sucker punches. Tanking should not mean being soft. GCG
  12. I am loving these entertaining games. The team has a ways to go but I remain bullish for the next few years. A top 5 pick should be a boost for year 3. GCG
  13. Perhaps when you are vying for a play-off berth. Even then the risk is great that the players become solo. The Nucks don't need the points, they need a new, tougher, identity.
  14. In this situation it should be obvious, you take a chance on a one sided penalty. You have cameras and media to back you up along with your team mates.
  15. Some on CDC think good hockey players don't do that any more and the good players only focus is on the 2 points. I wonder if they are Social Media scrubs?
  16. If you think establishing a team toughness identity is synonymous with how Philly once was, you are mistaken. Enough with the turning the other cheek and I don't think they would become poor hockey players. It's all about doing the right thing at the right time for the right reasons. It's not game 7 we are talking about...
