This team is due. I'm so pumped for the game and really hope the team and new Captain sets a new standard for home games. Don't take any crap from teams, stick up for each other and pedal to the metal throughout.
GCG 3 - 1 for the good guys
I don't think Edler is dynamic enough to QB PP1. Really need to add a D with better hands and movement; e.g. QH.
Chemistry will come. It's the softness that troubles me--need a wolf pack mentality and Calgary schools the Nucks on the point.
My first bottle. First taste was nice but I need two ounces to discover the true feel. But I'm still stuck on Glenmorangie Nectar D'Or, unless I have Cubans, then the Lag 16 really pulls through.
Here's hoping Myers lays-out Lucic and Beagle scores!
my night to cook: Rib Steak, Blue cheese, Portobello Mushrooms with Onion, Greek Salad
To drink: 1) Les Trios Mousquetaires American Pale ale, Red wine, Balvenie 12, Les Trios Mousquetaires American Pale, repeat the last two during the game.

I wonder how CDC will act after our first home loss. The amount of bitching over an early season game that could have gone either way is incredible. I still say we finish ahead of the Oiler again this year.
You keep suggesting I'm advocating revenge, yet I continue to suggest otherwise. Dictating the tone of a game with toughness is not revenge. I look forward to the Nucks dictating the tone, especially at home. I have not seen it in a decade or more. Are you paid to regurgitate the Bettman party line? Are you a league damage control guy? You have way too many posts to be so obtuse about such an obvious league problem. And I completely disagree that teams, including, Nucks, perpetrate that kind of hit all the time.
Perhaps you are living in a Pollyanna state where the league is fair and the only sensible recourse. You also misinterpret my message. It's not about revenge, it's about matching intensity and sending a message: "if you play this reckless way, we will too and we will certainly ensure your team pays for its approach." It should be a two-way street. The officials ultimately intervene but the take-away should be that opposing teams remain measured, especially when it comes to cheap shots.
I take your point but it doesn't excuse the softness of the team. Still soft like butter so far--but it's not too late to turn the ship around. Ottawa was running around all night and there was very little push back. You at least need to match the behaviour and if it escalates, you need the ability and resolve and finish the challenge.
Your argument fails to consider that there will be no play-offs if all your talent is concussed or on the IR for other reasons. I wonder who would make them pay on the PP. Concussions not only sideline a player for a period of time, if and when they come back they are often not the same. Until I see some team toughness and mutual support, my expectation and hope for this current roster is severely curtailed. I like what I see on paper but so far I see only paper toughness. I admit, I'm overly sensitive to the issue from watching the Nucks over the last decade.
