Okay so the plan was to go with Lack/Markstrom in the 2015 season? Lack who was forced into being a starter at the end of the 2014 season and albeit with a train wreck of D infront of him still crashed himself. Was our 'dumbass' GM supposto stick with status quo and hope for Lack to rebound into a starting goaltender in the NHL and a prospect who btw is still a prospect in Markstrom to carry our team? He made the call to bring in a veteran Olympic goalie in Miller; and incase you didn't notice that forced Markstrom to stay in the AHL where it looks like *knocks on wood* he's found his game again.

Great post man. Higgins should/would be the best fit on our third line but at the time who else do we have for 2LW? Even Baer who's playing good in the AHL may not make the second line right out of the gate. Do I think he'll make it by the end of the 2016 season? Eh.. I'd be happy if he was playing a good two-way game on the third line by seasons end. Something like: Baer-Horvat-X (Hansen?) Lines got decent speed with those three, good two way forwards in Horvat/Hansen and hopefully a decent shot with Baer. Again this is only hypothetical .. but one can hope? But only time will tell .

I think most ppl would be happy if Virt first made the team, and was able to produce 0.3 ppg in his first year as an NHLer lol..

Yep just like ppl call our two best players the Sedin Sisters. I'd be happy as heck to have either of those two prospects on the Nucks', and just like Jake they're prospects and nothing else until they make the NHL.
