  1. What’s a good program to take in college preferably to get a diploma/certificate? I also want to take something that’s not as stressful and will help me net a job in the near future

@Alflives I worked in the restaurant/hospitality industry for almost 10 years. That's like attaining a PhD in psych.

I've been wondering that too @Beary Sweet!  I first went to college when I was 17 and graduated at 19 with a degree that is fashion oriented. These days I work for a software company doing all sorts of things at the company.

Check out BCIT's software/programming or accounting/finance programs. Lots of options for 2 year diplomas that will land you decent jobs. If that's not your thing, look into the skilled trades.

Edit: I just read your reply where you said you were interested in medicine. Check out the medical imaging/nuclear medicine programs too. Being an Xray/CT/MRI tech is a great career, and I believe it is still a 2 year diploma and not a 4 year degree.

Edit 2: I looked it up: Yes, "Medical Radiography" is a 2 year diploma. Graduate and start working in a hospital at ~$28 an hour and the option to work as much OT as you want. Salary goes up to ~40/ hour as you gain experience and seniority.
