  1. good for him. Also read that he wants to become FIFA World Player of the Year and he wasn't going to get that opportunity at Barca with Messi still his magician self and arguably the best player in the world. I hope it works out for him. gets a great opportunity to really flourish as one of the top 5 best footballers if the move comes to fruition. on another note, United with their 1st ever friendly victory over City in North American soil. Lukaku with a cool finish after heading it pass City's Ederson who he made look silly and Rashford getting another one himself. Great start to the tour!
  2. this team would be so better off if they had made that move for Blackmon. it avoids the whole platoon situation at LF where it's been a mess. Pearce, Carrera have been great with the bat but not sure if they handle the speed and athleticism needed to be a good LFer. they should explore that option again by this TDL or at best the offseason where they need a guy who is great on the outfield and has some pop and good piece of hitting
  3. Uh oh. Bolsinger was great right until he hung that curve. Gotta get back on track tomorrow
  4. Nice! Cincy is one of my favourite teams in AFC. Dalton, Green and now Ross are going to have one of the most dynamic offenses in the league. Still love my Seahawks though! But the Bengals are one of those teams you have to keep an eye on
  5. Neymar apparently agrees to a move to PSG for €222 million. Barca has a say probably in whether they agree or not but this would be the biggest bang this transfer window if it does go down
  6. Fabulous news @Lateralus91! One of the best ever goal scorers Dortmund has had and he certainly possesses a ton of value to the club rather than feeding off the fee they get and make a profit. Hopefully he builds off the amazing campaign he had last season!
  7. Just watched Wonder Woman and it was amazing. Watching Diana use her powers was stunning and she herself is as well. Sad Steve had to sacrifice but had to do what he had to do. Loved it!

      SPOILERS: YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Yeah I was just as choked as Wonder Woman when Steve sacrificed, I almost cried lol. She is stunning.

      Dunkirk this Friday.

  8. I feel bad sometimes for it but the team wouldn't be in this deep of a hole if the team wasn't so injury riddled. Now Liriano is hurt. It's been a factor along with the fact that they still play home run ball. Just need a lead off hitter plus a starter potentially and the team will start to get back. They also need to change their hitting approach and get runners on base and sacrifice to set the next guy up. We are looking like sellers though as of today
  9. Beautiful summer so far which means more people looking for work! I've been looking for one for quite some time and applied almost every place I can think of. If you hear of any openings/places hiring, let me know! Thanks

Nah @Chip Kelly. I can lift light weight merchandise but not 50lb. I'm just a teen. I could do maybe cashier, replenish clerk if they have any openings

If you can't lift 50 you can always call for somebody to help if the customer doesn't. They are big on safety so if you feel uncomfortable they woulf not push you to do it. If a customer insists you just tell em to wait.

Yeah that's great to hear! Will definitely give it a go. Thanks!

  10. The way I see it Juve are going to infuse in a mix of youth and experience with their backline. Rugani, Caldara, and they probably have a ton more which is great to see. Very promising futures for both and one of the two should be able to fill the hole left by Bonucci if they can show a level of consistency. Will be interesting where they go from here now
  11. Burnham's catch was unreal. Lulay's throw was just as good. Good play call all in all. It was one of the few drives I watched in the game. Leos ran away with it at the end. Great to see a nice start to the season so far
  12. Casey is one of the best coaches in the league. Sure he has his flaws finding a way to be creative offensively but usually that's the best he can do. Now that he has much better players to coach including a full year of Ibaka, Miles, the team have weapons that can hit some 3s that will help them compete with the likes of GS, Cavs, Houston. League is going to be much competitive with at least a handful teams possibly even more being much better. Going to be exciting!
  13. JB take sole possession of 3rd in Jays All Time RBIs list after his bomb yesterday. Congrats and hopefully he has an explosive 2nd half!
  14. https://www.thescore.com/seri/news/1332993-juventus-bonucci-on-verge-of-shock-move-to-ac-milan it may be far more than that. Bonucci and Allegri were allegedly exchanging insults during a Serie A win over Palermo thus Allegri removed him from the CL roster shortly after. it's a shame as he's been one of the Europe's top premier passers in football. on another note, De Sciglio will indeed be on his way to Juve on a separate deal
  15. I heard about that. This guy named Flourent Malouda who played for the French International team played for French Guiana yesterday. Got a 0-0 draw in their match vs Honduras but heard it can easily be a 3-0 loss for the team which is a forfeit if the decision goes against him.
  16. I completely agree. Heard and read on The Score that Smoak could potentially be trade bait due to his reasonable salary and his contract is a beauty. I don't think it's worth moving tbh. Still in the Wild Card mix and all the team needs is that one little boost which is a lead off hitter and pitching like you mentioned. Hopefully we can surprise and make another run for the World Series!
  17. That would be interesting! Not a fan of the Raiders but I like the direction they are heading in. Good mobile, solid passer QB, Beast Mode activated at RB, Cooper and Crabtree as solid targets so they're a team definitely on the rise. Still want my Seahawks to win again. They will always be a competitive team and they have most of the core intact still. Carroll has the team always in sync and the team looks ready to make another run!
  18. This is so so true Alf! Even I get bored now watching the playoffs because you already what's coming.. injuries were a factor though this playoffs with Spurs, Clippers, Raps, Jazz so hopefully next year will be a much better playoffs if most teams stay healthy. teams have also made some big time changes like the Rockets adding CP3, Tucker, OKC with the PG13 addition, Spurs signing Rudy, Celts on the verge of adding Hayward, Raps dumping salary for cap to sign Miles who I actually like quite a lot so next year will be much more entertaining regular season and playoffs wise
  19. https://www.thescore.com/epl/news/1331065 Apparently, it's £100 million when its all said and done. The Rooney transfer is basically a free and he's getting half the wages at Everton that he was earning here. Got ourselves a good one. Proven goal scorer who has what it takes to handle the potential heavy workload with C/L, Cup ties and PL fixtures as well. Got Rashford, Martial also to give him occasional breaks since he probably won't be able to handle playing most matches. Will be interesting how Mickey, Pogba, Herrera, Bailly and others build off the successful year they had this upcoming season that's right around the corner. Ecstatic about the move!
  20. ...Highlights were not worth watching today. That's the difference between a young contender who have many more great years ahead and a team like us who are trying to get more out of the superstars we still have. We've also forgotten about the BP and pitching as well. Smoak and Osuna have been phenomenal this season and deserve their ASG nods. The team still trying to play home run ball and that just isn't going to cut it. We need to make a couple moves to improve the team if we want to make a playoff push but it's starting to become bleak again. Once we start winning a few in a row post All Star break which the team deserves, I think we'll get ourselves back in the mix.
  21. Good point! Question is though will there be any takers? with DC gone, I would we'd have enough for one of CJ or KCP. I like Caldwell Pope and surprised the Pistons pulled their qualifying offer out for him. young kid with some untapped potential. most certainly he has to be on Masai's radar
  22. Nice to see them move DC. He could use the change of scenary. Liked him quite a bit and was hoping he'd turn it around. Quite a price to pay though but hopefully if KD kicks GS and joins OKC maybe or any team as long as it ain't the Warriors, then the Raps have a good shot for the title. Cavs, Celts are still gonna be threats but Raps are still there. Hamilton is interesting. Nice, young, strong centre. I like JV though and complete opposite of @Watermelon and would love to keep him around. Having Serge around too will also do wonders with his versatility, perimeter shooting, rim protection. I'm excited to see how we do next season
  23. Okay I'm a Laker fan as well but I give respect when it's due. LeBron literally gave everything he had on the floor this past Finals and showed that with the triple double he averaged against this super team Warriors. He's definitely the game's best player still. Durant was spectacular for sure but without him, I really don't think the Warriors had much of a chance. He has a knack for clutch moments like the block last year on Iggy like @Jiggs50 mentioned, screw the clutch shots. He plays a team game first and that's what I like about him. Always sharing the rock and not just hogging it. He's a definite HOFer no doubt. If there's a team that can pull off a Finals win in next few years against this Warriors team, it's him.
  24. Apparently Rooney is part of the fee as well heading to Everton. He was great in his tenure as a RD. nothing but great things to say. Wish him all the best if he so happens to be part of the transfer fee. Welcome, Romelu! Excited to see what he will bring to United and he's already been training with Pogba as well. Chance to see him join the squad just before the tour.
  25. That would be sick! But not sure if they can afford both PG and KD. PG for sure with him wanting to go there. I'd rather they pursue LBJ over the snake KD Ball LeBron PG Ingram Lopez Same bench as yours. This would encourage fans to storm in and betray their city rivals Clippers to watch the Lakers again. They may not be a playoff team but they have the potential to be like the TWolves after next year with PG almost a lock on being a Laker unless something drastically changes his mind. Exciting times ahead for Laker Nation!
