  1. Maile fills in well during Martin's day off, Travis continues to swing a hot bat. 6 games back of the division. Hitting our stride at the right time
  2. Well yeah of course. Obviously can't forget them haha. I realized Green vs Love was a good match up last year. The focus this Finals will be LeBron vs Durant. Two MVP candidates going at it. Thompson vs Smith will be another one to watch out for
  3. Cavs will take it in 7. Durant and Curry will not be enough to stop LeBron, Kyrie and Love from a repeat. They cakewalked their way into the Finals but they will not have an answer for the one of greatest players of all time and playoff leading all time scorer.
  4. https://www.thescore.com/liga/news/1310376 he has submitted a transfer request and its only a matter of time United officially submits a bid. City are already throwing their money around. I like Liverpool's signing of Solanke from Chelsea even though I'm not a Liverpool fan. He's been a force from what I've heard in the youth levels. Carrick extended his contract so we're good in midfield for the time being. We really need help up front and with Rooney potentially being shown the door, we have the funds to add Griezmann plus a defender as insurance since Rojo may need some time to recover. We may also need a backup to Romero but I really want De Gea to stay and remain the #1 choice. He's the keeper we need for C/L. It's going to be busy summer emptying our pockets so time to buckle up
  5. Morales has been seeing the ball as well as anybody in the lineup. Hit a no doubter
  6. Yeah. I'm going to miss the guy. As what was mentioned in an article I read, he is Roma. 25 years in his hometown, showed his loyalty to the city of Roma and the team. Even though stars like Cafu, Emerson left, Totti remained content and wanted to continue winning trophies for Roma which he did. He once won the Golden Boot in Serie A in '07 I believe and they played a striker less formation of 4-6-0. That's unreal. And it's only one of his many bright spots in his legendary career. He's probably in my top 5 of All Time Soccer Greats.
  7. When I was watching early on, Martin hit a 2 run dinger. Tune in now and it's 13-4. It's safe to say we have finally hit our stride
  8. Vilardi had another solid performance in Windsor's Memorial Cup win notching a pair of helpers. Dallas are open to moving 3 for the right player and if we somehow trade up say Sbisa and a 2nd, I'd do it since it's better to get something for Sbisa rather than lose him to Vegas. That way we can protect an extra forward/defenceman. He's the kid I would take to this point at 3. The sky is the limit with his potential. He's tall, decent speed, has good skill, smart, solid playmaking and good in all 3 zones. He's going to be taking on more responsibility next year once Brown, Bracco most likely end up in their respective NHL clubs. Good versatility as well as he can play wing if he needs to. His puck protection is great also especially along the boards where he can be a physical force. If we don't trade up and he drops, he's a can't miss pick. Glass, Heiskanen, Makar, Necas are also good options.
  9. I read an article about winning their 1st DFB in the last 4 years after being runner up their previous 4 attempts in the Final and 5 things learned after the win. Aubameyang could potentially be on the way out and teams already considering making bids as well as Tuchel may be on his way out for not consulting with the CEO regarding playing the 1st leg of the last 8 a day after the bombings. Gotze not participating in celebrations was also mentioned. I'm happy with the Cup win and I'm hoping the summer doesn't go this way. Hopefully they build off this success and keep the team intact for another go next year
  10. Saw some highlights. Caps hit the post 4 times in the game. Talk about tough luck. Techera hit it twice including the penalty attempt. We deserved a draw at the very least yesterday. Oh well have to scrap it and move on to the next one.
  11. Im assuming most of you here are good drivers. I'm planning on taking my L tomorrow. Any tips on how I should handle it? I've done the practice test numerous times and have done well. Wish me luck

Firstly, don't assume people in Vancouver are good drivers  this is an awful place to drive, people here are incredibly rude and inpatient.

But just do the practice exam online and you'll be fine.

I didn't get to do it :( they're closed on weekends. Probably will try my luck next week

  12. Travis makes up for his error with a grand slam... holy caholy he's on fire
  13. https://www.thescore.com/chlg/news/1307583 Griezmann perhaps suggested here that he may not be joining United or at the very least not pushing for it to happen. If not, Mbappe is someone I have my eye on and should be a target for United. Has proven success in CL lifting Monaco to the semis. 15 goals in Ligue 1 and 6 goals in C/L says it all and he's only 18. Has the potential to be a Dembele, Aubameyang, Lewandowski poacher. Madrid have their eye on him so we'll have to step up with a real good offer if we want to capture him
  14. JD and Tulo are finally coming off the DL and be put into the lineup tomorrow vs the Rangers. Can't wait to see how they do and hope they can wear off any rust. Hopefully the team can continue from where they left off in the Brewers' series.
  15. 15-20 points. LBJ, Kyrie will go ham again. Boston hang around for most of the game but can't do enough to hold off the defending champs
  16. @Nbanhl has a great point that he was drafted by the Sonics and that we should support KD but from my perspective, it was a snake move joining the team that beat them when they up 3-1 in last year's West Finals. Leonard injury killed any hope of Spurs winning similar to the Raps when Lowry was out as well and other teams with injuries this playoffs. It's going to be interesting who wins. If LeBron wins he's GOAT
  17. Bats with a moon shot, Pillar and Travis hit dingers as well and Goins hit his 1st grand slammy. The team has seemed to finally hit their stride. Having Tulo and JD back soon may be enough to contend for the division if everyone keeps it up
  18. Mourinho knows how to win big matches when it matters the most and he got his tactics spot on yet again. Rested key players in our final PL match so we can have them all fresh and mentally prepared for the match. Pogba said it best. They did it for those who died and all of us as United fans. Scored a big goal that got us going on the front foot. Mkhitaryan got one off a corner which Smalling headed down cleverly for Mickey who stretched his leg up as high as he could to put it away. It's a big trophy win for the city just couple days after a tragic event and us as United fans. Kudos to Mourinho for getting the team far more prepared for this. His defensive scheme was on point and pressed well on the counter. Now we need to get players who are capable of playing a much faster, up tempo play as those type of players are crucial for C/L success. Pogba and Mickey have the experience but the rest have very little to limited Champs League experience. That's the key if we want to build a team that can compete in both P/L, C/L and other competitions as well. In Mourinho We Trust. For now time to enjoy this EL Final win! Wooohooo
  19. So far, so good. The team has been playing well in all competitions so far including their final match vs CP in the PL. it hasn't been the bestest of seasons but winning the Community Shield vs Leicester after last year's FA Cup win and English Cup win as well so overall although a disappointing PL campaign, a year where we win possibly 3 trophies if we finish off Ajax today which were up 2-0 is a good year in my books. Pogba' goal was a fluke sort of off Ajax' defender Sanchez and I missed Mkhitaryan' goal. We're on our way there.
  20. Yup. Definitely the save of the match. I watched the last few minutes of the match and got nervous since the Impact had so much pressure on the ball and held possession late while we were playing desperation and clearing the ball whenever they got the ball into the box. Nevertheless, they got the job done and even though we surrendered a away goal, I think they can get the job done especially beating Montreal in league play earlier in the season
  21. Feeling confident about the EL final today. There's no other manager that knows how to win when needed most other than Mourinho. I trust him to get his tactics spot on and attack from the get go. It's the trophy we are missing in our cabinet even though it's not the most sparkling trophy. My heart and prayers go to the victims of the Manchester bombings and hopefully they win it for them. Go United!
  22. I agree. If this video doesn't convince you that he's a #1 center one day, I don't know what's wrong with you this was his highlights from last season and he's just so good offensively. Good playmaker, solid IQ, shot, pass, board play is off the charts, plays physical, good in all 3 zones. He knows where to be on the ice and gets in the right position at the right time. He's a hard nosed players and likes to get into the dirty areas in the ice. He's also very good in his own end and usually stays with his check. This video alone along with his performances in the Knights series was enough to sold me into him. He's going to be a special player in the NHL and if he falls, I don't think twice and I select him
  23. Joey Bats making his 1st start at the hot corner for the first time since 2013. Hope he impresses and flashes some leather and continues to get it done with the bat as well. Lineup has been made official for today's series opener vs the Brewers: Pillar Carrera Bats Morales Travis Martin Coghlan Goins Biagini
  24. Don't know or watched him since I wasn't even born yet lol. He's an all time great Seahawk and extraordinary man from what I've read. RIP Tez
