  1. Jed made it look easy out there. Got some good shots on Andrade, prevented some takedowns and got lots of good strikes. Overall, she has a good style and Andrade just couldn't pull it together. Maybe next time
  2. Intense 1st round. Andrade certainly took it with a couple takedowns. Jed had one or two but mainly domination by Jessica
  3. Have the main events Miocic vs Dos Santos and Andrade vs Jed begun yet?
  4. Well Bayern are the better team but I agree. Biggest choke. Long range effort by Alaba that found its way in and Robben scored the winner. Leipzig could be next year's Leicester that could surprise next CL but not expecting much. Still want Dortmund or United to make a magical run next year in CL. I'm hopeful for both as I expect them to be busy this summer transfer window.
  5. What is there not to like... team's rolling. Joey Bats, Morales with clutch dingers again and Stro pitches another gem. Hopefully we keep it going!
  6. This all day long. Watched a few minutes of the highlights and I'm sold myself on this kid. If Glass gets taken early, Heiskanen, Vilardi, Mittelstadt would be wise choices if they slip to 5. If not, Makar is a good pick as well. He's so mobile, good hockey IQ, good positionally in the offensive zone, nice shot and pass, solid playmaking and good decision making. I also like the fact that he loves to drive to the net. That's what the NHL is all about now. D usually set up opportunities and if there's no open lane, they try to create a play themselves to open their teammates up and if they're not take the chance and get a shot off or drive it hard like what Makar likes to do. Kid has the potential to be Krug/Karlsson imo. Lots to rave about the kid
  7. Harden had a flat out terrible game. Spurs beat them and they didn't even have Leonard who was out due to injury... think about that for a sec. usually the Rockets would take it to the Spurs but instead Harden gave the game away and turned the ball over so many times along with missing some very makable buckets. It's all going to be for not though as Spurs may give the Warriors all they can handle but GS is still going to get it done. Hopefully I'm wrong as I'd love to see Leonard make Curry, Durant and the gang look silly. Cavs have a shot at the repeat but I'm afraid Warriors may pull it off this time around
  8. Yup lol. Very remisniscent to Oberg where Torts was giving him minutes right until Gillis traded him for Kassian which ended up being a bust deal when he ended up not showing his potential. Now that I think of it, he was traded to Florida for Ballard who helped the Canucks Cup run. Another note, great to see Smoak getting some clutch hits. To top that off, he hit a dinger as well. Really need others to step up and Carrera, Pillar, Travis, Bats have done their part as well. Once we get healthy, we should be a threat once more
  9. Things got testy near the end of the 2nd leg with Bailly getting sent off though it could've been Valencia for pushing a Celta player but I don't think a ref caught it. Fellaini sealed the win with the header in the 1st half off Rashford's cross and ends up being the difference. Celta had so many chances in the 2nd half that got me nervous but thankfully we held strong and kept the advantage we had. Hopefully we seal the deal in the final! Go United
  10. Now Liriano is headed for DL. This is Jays team is reminding me of the Canucks the past two years. Injuries have been killing the team but always find ways to win game in and game out. GoGo though is going off and Bats is hitting his stride. Hope they keep going as every win will only help heading into the coming months as they start winning streaks to possibly get back into the division title race. Go Jays!
  11. Kudos to Juve for another sensational performance. They dropped points this past weekend vs Torino in Serie A but they were focusing on today's 2nd leg and didn't miss a beat. Alves with a stunning volley off Subasic's clearance was world class. Wasted no time putting it in the back of the net. Hopefully they take it to either Madrid team in the Final! Go Juve!
  12. I like the move personally. Young kid with nice upside, has some good speed and pace, and is very versatile being able to play multiple forward positions in center forward and winger. Looking forward to how he fits in the team
  13. I have to say this tie looks like it's wrapped up and Juve continue their climb for CL title. Monaco have had decent chances and couple close calls but Juve's strong D continue to hold its ground. It's going to take a crazy comeback similar to Barca's vs PSG, but don't see it happening
  14. Nice series win vs the Rays this past weekend. Biagini was solid in his 1st career start. Barney continues to heat up. Haven't been following the team much since we have an awful record with JD and Tulo out the lineup. Hopefully we just continue to win series and not worry about our record. The team will heat up eventually once we get healthy. Edwin's return will be interesting also. It's been a busy week or so for me so hope for all the best for the Jays. Will try to catch a game or two eventually. Go Jays!
  15. Why are you here if you don't like the Raps... they got beat by the defending champs and they were eager to repeat. Too many threats from 3 and Kyrie and LeBron are solid playmakers and scorers themselves. Warriors may win the title this year but won't be surprised if LeBron repeats even with GS having KD. I believe LeBron and Kyrie can expose Curry and the Dubs again. I respect the Cavs a lot and they are still a top 5 team in the league alongside the Rockets, Spurs, Celtics, Raps among them

Thanks y'all for the greetings. Hopefully our Canucks become a hit in the league once again!

  17. Gotta give kudos to the Cavs. Lowry being hurt was basically the last straw for the Raps. Cleveland are a deep team filled with 3 point shooters, decent secondary scoring with Korver, Frye, D Will and Kyrie and LeBron are and continue to be the heart of the team. We gave everything we had with Ibaka, DeRozan, Joseph, Tucker all putting everything on the line and same with the rest of the team but it was too much to overcome. I'd like to see Stackhouse get a assistist coach gig with the team. Raps 905 won the D League title and Stackhouse is a main reason their D League team won it all, getting the kids and players to buy into his system and play with hard compete level and winning mentality. Lots to linger about though especially with Lowry being a pending FA along with Tucker, Ibaka, Patterson. Hopefully we manage to re-sign them all and go at it again next season. This team deserves another chance imo. Good luck to the Cavs rest of the way and I hope they knock cocky Curry and the Warriors this year yet again!
  18. I sense the Raps are going to be on the verge of making some history this year. Love the belief, effort and compete level Casey has the team playing at. Great to see
  19. Hopefully not. He's not going to be back until next season after suffering the horrendous injury vs Anderlecht in EL 2nd leg. After today's loss vs the Gunners, Mourinho is focused on winning EL and it is our only shot at getting CL unless we miraculously win our final 3 PL matches and Liverpool or City slow down but that isn't the case now. About Ibra, I really believe he loves United and he wants to stay. Having CL next year will want him to stay even more but firstly, he needs to get healthy so he can be the player he was this past year for another season. The idea of adding Mbappe, Griezmann is tantilizing but I'd rather go after one of the two or seek other options from other leagues but those two are certainly on United's radar De Gea isn't leaving. Period lol. We need him for CL next year. Hopefully Madrid $&@? Off and go after Courtois, Lloris or whoever else they want. Belotti is a good option. I like him also. He's a solid striker who just loves to score goals. Pretty young as well so I'd go after him but i doubt he leaves Serie A. Morata is an option Mourinho and United have apparently identified as a target. He could be tempted to leave Madrid for more minutes. He's the perfect complimentary #10 alongside Rashford that I'd love to see happen but it's good we have a backup in case we don't get Griezmann or Mbappe. Either way, it's going to be a busy summer.
  20. This. All day... seriously he's been one of the bright spots other than DeRozan. He's been owning Thompson in the paint, nailing clutch hook shots, knocking his jumpers down, and always penetrating hard to the rim. Good finisher also. Seriously don't know why he didn't put JV in when Ibaka was clearly not feeling it. Oh well it's going to take a miracle at this point to overturn this 3-0 hole no one has ever come back from I believe.
  21. https://www.thescore.com/fran/news/1293941 @CaptainCanuck001 apparently United offered €72 million for Mbappe according to The Score. Nevertheless, he's far better and more consistent than Martial who's good but is so inconsistent. Hopefully we make this deal happen. He would look good with Ibra, Pogba and Mkhitaryan next season
  22. nice away win to start off the EL semis 2 legged affair for United. Rashford had a masterful performance and probably deserved more than a goal after nearly putting United up in the 1st half. delightful goal by Rashford off the set piece free kick though as Blind goes over the ball and lets Rashford have a go and it was a sensational finish. didn't get a chance to catch the match but the highlights looked like they were playing well. didn't dominate the game based on the stats I've seen and possession wise, but it's good that we played well enough to have a front foot into the final. hopefully we seal the deal in the return leg to OT and beat Arsenal this weekend also. Go United!
  23. Tbh they've been swarmed defensively by the Cavs which is why DeRozan hasn't been able to get quality shots off. It's tough to drive with the ball also when he's double team almost every time he touches the ball. Now our best player today in Lowry is out the rest of the game. JV has been good and maybe he might've earned a start next game again. Powell is playing well also playing with aggression and wants to win. The rest have been phased out by the crowd and the Cavs. Cavs are just balling and having fun while we just can't stop them. Having a difficult time figuring out whether they can steal a game or two. Definitely not looking good
  24. Raps getting pummeled by LeBron again.. sigh
