Our pick + 2023 2nd + Myers for #5, Holtz? I think this could work out for us if we make such an offer. We free up cap offloading Myers and we add a young talent like Holtz into our young, blossoming forward group. We might have to sweeten the pot with another player/pick but this would be pretty good if this got the deal done

I hope we do. He’s been the heart and soul of the team since we acquired him. He netted a career high 99 pts and was within a pt of reaching 100 which would’ve made him the 6th Canuck all time to reach the mark. If we make the move, it has to be for the right package in return. If not, we can always play things out and see how things look like around TDL. PA and JR mentioned that they are willing to make a non emotional decision on JT.

Laffs blowout the Bolts in Game 1. This has the makings of a very good series

Avs in 5. Preds will fight but Avs’ talent is too much to overcome

Kings in 6. As much as I like McDavid, I will never cheer for the Coilers

Flames in 6

Must watch imo. Kaprizov, Fiala, Boldy, Zuccarello vs Tarasenko, Thomas, Schenn, O’Reilly. Addition of Fleury has had a ripple effect on the Wild. He will be a x-factor in this series. Wild in 7

Canes in 6. Svechnikov, Aho, Teraveinen, Niederreiter make up a solid offensive crew. Slavin, DeAngelo, Skjei, Pesce manning the point while Andersen, Raanta between the pipes is too good

Cats in 5. Huberdeau, Barkov, Lundell have all been great this year. Weegar, Ekblad are rock solid in their back end. Additions of Chiarot, Giroux has just solidified this team’s depth. Knight, Bob are excellent too

Bolts in 6. I hate the Laffs and as much as I want to see them succeed in the playoffs, they’re facing the likes of Hedman, Kuch, Stammy, Point, Vasilevskiy. Bolts for a 3 peat? Don’t want this to happen but who knows

Rangers in 6. Shesterkin has put in Vezina worthy performances all year long and I expect it to continue

Avs are my pick. Panthers would be my 2nd. As long as any of these two win the Cup, I’ll be satisfied. I’ll be watching most if not all of the series. It’s that time of year again. Let’s get it going!

Boeser opening up about his father is hitting me pretty hard as well. I’m sure it is to you all too. I’m hoping all the best for his father. He seems like a great man.

Tough loss to end the season. It was a great season other than the poor start under Green. Boudreau righted the ship and turned the team into a playoff hopeful. We were that close to sneaking in. Miller was within a pt of 100 while Huggy Bear finished with 60 assists. Martin had another stellar start. Garland, Boeser, Bo, Petey, OEL, Demko all have had great seasons. Podz, Chiasson, Lammikko, Schenn had solid years as well. I’m excited about the offseason knowing that we will be picking #15 at the very least barring a move up via draft lottery. Hopefully we can sign a free agent or two that can make an impact on this team as well. A lot to look forward to. Let’s make it happen! GCG!
