It’s going to be a forward or a D with our top pick. I feel like we’re set with Demko, DiPietro, Silovs between the pipes. Plus adding goaltenders can be addressed with late picks. If one of Hughes, Clarke, Edvinsson are available for D, we take it and run. With a forward, it seems to be all over the place. Guys such as Lysell, Johnson, McTavish, Guenther, Svechkov could all be available as well. I’m, however, not sold on anyone in regards to who we should select with our pick. It’s that kind of a draft. A kid like, say, Raty could end up being a top 5 player in the class and due to his mediocre play, he’s slotted to be a late 1st rounder. All I can ask our scouts and GM to do is to do their due diligence and select the player who will make the earliest impact in NHL. GCG!

[Report] Canucks announce coaching staff updates

Not bad. Brown is let go. Baum is back while bringing in two new assistants. Hope they help our young team and take this team to the next level. Good work, JB! -
Late to the party but congrats to Podz! It’s only the beginning for this kid. His hockey career and marriage is just kickstarting everything for him. So excited to see him this upcoming training camp. Go Podz!

Have a feeling France will win the Euros. Teams like Belgium, Spain, Portugal, England will be threats but Les Bleus are too deep. Mbappe is one of the world’s best, their midfield with Pogba, Kante and their defence with Varane, Pavard, Laporte makes them the team to watch and beat. -
The West has some tight matchups with DEN-PHX and LAC-UTH. I see PHX and LAC coming out on top. In the East, I’ll go BKN and PHI. Finals will be LAC and BKN and want Kawhi to win another ring.

Any dark horses to look at and watch out for around our pick? I have kids like Clarke, Ceulemans, Eklund, Raty and Johnson. There’s a lot of talented prospects this year but it doesn’t scream like 2015 and 2016 for instance. You can possibly add Guenther, McTavish as well. There’s a good chance we end up with one of the kids I mentioned unless we go off the board and say we pick Wallstedt. I mean it’s not a need especially with our goalie position secured with Demko, DiPietro, Silovs but it’s the least of our needs tbh. RHD, C and wing should be our targets with our top pick

I've been playing Superstar usually now. AI force you to be very decisive with the puck at all times. Make one mistake and they usually punish you. I recently finished my 1st season in franchise and got kicked out of the 1st round of playoffs and I had home ice. Need to bounce back next season

I want Bucks to win but it’s probably Nets that’s gonna come out on top. Bucks may win a game or two but Nets are too good. Plus they have a clean route to the Finals now with Lakers gone. Rooting for Suns to win it now. Fk Brooklyn lol

A thing I’m curious to know is what direction Seattle will go. They will go either D or FWD. Beniers and Clarke would be solid options for them at 2 assuming Power goes #1 to Buf. I doubt this will happen but imagine if they pick say Wallstedt. That would be something. It’d change the complexion of the draft. In regards with our team, D is obviously a need but I have a feeling we’ll be going BPA. Unless a player like Clarke, Guenther, etc, drops into our lap, it seemingly looks likely that we will pick a forward. McTavish, Eklund, Johnson are all going to be available and I think that we are going to pick one of them. I’d be excited to end up with anyone of those 3.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CPrF461Amoh/?utm_medium=copy_link Lmao one of them have us picking Johnson and the other has us nabbing Clarke. I feel like Clarke dropping to us would be a gift tbh since he’s a projected top 5 pick to me. Johnson is a more realistic option for us since he’ll most likely be available. I’d be down with Ceulemans, McTavish, Eklund, Lucius as our selections as well. I’m very excited about the draft not just about our 1st rounder but our other picks as well.

Nice to see us picking where we’re supposed to be slotted. I have a feeling we’re going to be picking a forward since most of the D will probably be picked other than maybe Edvinsson and Ceulemans. Eklund, Guenther, Johnson, Lucius would be fine selections for me

I have a good feeling about tonight. We’re due tbh. 1st OVL would be franchise altering and steer this team in the right direction again like last season’s Cinderella run. Please, hockey gods! We need this. Let the card show the Canucks logo for 1st overall. Let’s go! I’m pumped
