I'm not sure Virtanen believes he is above his peers but, from the two games I watched him play live, he does seem unchallenged. At times on the ice Jake looks bored almost lazy or unmotivated. When everyone else on the ice seems to working hard to create plays Jake seems to be able to do the same without any effort.
