  1. My point is that people who have no clue, Bo is solid, but nowhere near Smyl. That's why his jersey is hanging in the rafters.
  2. He sure might have, and, being based on it was his contract year. I'm not a hater, but he hasn't lived up to becoming the player I had hoped he would. Huberdeau's contract is the worst, followed by Bo's. There is no way Bo is going to maintain a 30+ goal a year pace, especially with that Islander team. I personally, would take prime Smyl over Bo, every day.
  3. Yeah, I agree. I sure hope management isn't that stupid to make that deal. We already have too many bottom 6 wingers, and, after Myers $5 mil bonus is paid, the Canucks would actually have to pay out of pocket, $875,000 more for Leblanc's salary this year. So, it's a no-win situation for Canuck management. Plus, I still believe that Myers is going to have a good year, clearly because he's playing for his next contract. Trade him at the deadline.
  4. He's one of these "entitled" punks who's trash talking players. He better be able to back it up.
  5. I agree that it's similar, but, Podz has way more character at such an early age, as long as he continues to grow as a player, he's definitely someone I'd rather have on my team than some spoiled punk. Talking crap to Stetcher and others is not cool. It gets intense, no problem, but at least back that up. Who's that little idiot on Philly? Bo's cousin, who took a cheap shot at Petey last year? Those kind of guys are gutless punks, no matter how much skill they have.
  6. Some clown on here laughed at me because I said I'm glad Anaheim chose Zegras just before we picked Podz. Zegras is a greasy little punk who's going to get owned if he keeps up his pissy-ass attitude. We should be thankful the Ducks chose that scuzzy little bitch just before our pick.
  7. Exactly. It's not like Crosby wouldn't have thrived in Ottawa, or McDavid in Edmonton.
  8. We'll find out down the road, but the guy is also a sniveling little punk. So, there's that too. I prefer a guy with size, who plays with an edge. Podz is still only 22.
  9. It's obvious he's very talented offensively, but I'm glad Anaheim chose him and we ended up picking Podkolzin. Sure, it's pretty apparent that he'll outscore Podz, but if VP finds his confidence, we have the player who can contribute to go deep in the playoffs.
  10. It's actually the exact opposite. We should be "keeping" our picks and prospects, and build upon what we already have.
  11. Yeah, like Kucherov miraculously appearing healthy just before the playoffs. That's quite the addition.
  12. I'm not so sure about that. Perhaps you should ask Lou Lamoriello what he thinks.
  13. The most important part of Miller's game is consistency. Obviously, any other player, as well. That's something that he is getting better at, year after year. Regardless, the fact remains, Petey and Miller led the NHL last year in short handed goals.
  14. Petey and Miller were the only two players to score 5 short handed goals last year, leading the league in that category, so I don't think there's too much to worry about Miller's effort.
  15. I like DiPietro. I wish him the best individually, but the Ruins can blow bubbles, to put it mildly.
  16. Kravstov signed for two years in the KHL. We still own his rights.
  17. The AHL is an option, for sure. Especially for Cap. It's up to him to force his way onto the team. Here's to hoping!
