  1. I suppose I'm one of the minority that likes the idea of Miller as a center. The only problem is Petey needs to improve his faceoff %. Otherwise, it potentially creates 3 lines that are difficult to defend against. One thing I would do that might seem asinine is, try Gadz on the 1st line. As long his skating improves, he can crash and bang, take position in front of the net, and has the skill level to bang home rebounds and tip-in shots. Plus, he has the ability to stand up for Petey and Boeser. I feel it's worth a try. I would at least try Harley the Hog with Bo and Garland, it could work out. If not, put Pearson back with Bo and Garland. Harley with Miller/Podkolzin, and Motte, Dickinson and Lockwood. That would be a difficult/dynamic line up to play against, if all went accordingly.
  2. What are you talking about? You don't have anything positive to say about pretty much nothing. Go crawl back in your hole.
  3. Wow. That is messed up. Lol. That's what you call "thinking on your toes". /s
  4. I agree, I'd rather take a chance on a high-risk/high-reward type player. Also, this kid is only 18 and a half, 6'1, 202 lbs. Sounds like he needs to focus on his skating, which is very doable with the proper coaching/training. The maturity and structure will develop with the right guidance. Everything else seems to be in place for him to succeed at the NHL level, and will only improve over the next couple of years. Some people need to remember that, although we haven't had first round picks two years in a row, we do have Miller, OEL, and Garland to show for those picks, so it's not as though we came away completely empty-handed from those transactions.
  5. Oh, I don't know. Why don't you ask some of the posters here who would gladly throw away the 9th OA to shed contracts and waste assets. Not very bright imo.
  6. Let the POS continue to fall out of sorts with the Cow Pies. Don't want that gutless punk anywhere near our team.
  7. Yeah, but he wasn't even close to being the first one to post that image.
  8. What? Do you got a crystal ball or something? Haha!
  9. That's exactly what happened after Guddy fractured Hamonic's jaw. Next game against the Flamers, Tkashmuck wouldn't dare venture into Gudbranson's corner.
  10. Who says "staying the course" for one more year rules out competing for the playoffs and the Cup?
  11. Good point. That's why I'm always leery of the majority of these guys "playing for their next deal", especially at 30 years old.
  12. Exactly. What's done is done. Let's ride it out and move forward. No silly, panic moves. Relax, one more year and it's over.
  13. And shouldn't afford. Give the opportunity to one of our young guns, like Lockwood, Gadz, etc.
