Is Jack close to overtaking Ollie as a left hand Dman prospect? He could be close by the end of next season or sooner possibly.

I really don't think NT is going to improve much more; he is what what he is going to be. Probably at best a good third pairing LD. I don't see Green playing him on his weak side. Benn has been better on the right side even though he is a lefty but Green hardly ever played him there (played right side in Montreal semi regular). Just my thoughts. Just wanted to also say I hope and pray all are well and staying healthy. Tough times for many but thank-you to you all for helping pass the the time and providing an escape from all that is going on around us. If the Canucks sign TT in the off-season does that make BB a trade asset to be moved to improve our defense? I admit to feeling conflicted about this idea. BB has been so popular here in Vancouver, I never thought this would be discussed. Yesterday there was someone who said this same thing on TSN 1040 (sorry that I can't remember who was being interviewed). Dose signing TT make BB expendable? With time to settle down after hearing this but I am thinking that is not such a bad idea. What do you all think?

I think the one thing Zack could work on is his skating. He is quick in straight ahead North/South speed but his lateral movement East/West needs work. His skating style is a bit choppy. If he could improve that part of his skating, I think he will be an even better middle 6 forward. He should talk to Bo and get the name of his skating coach for training in the summer.

I have always viewed education as learning to find the info you need to to do your job competently. I may not know all the things I studied 40 years ago but I can find the answer quickly because I know where to find the answer. Also, as far as education and degrees; all are hard to finish.

Well, I think Quinn wins the Calder this year. The amazing thing here is if Quinn wins we will have had 2 of the last 3 Calder winners and a runner up 2 years ago in Brock. Has any other teams in the last 50 years done anything like what Jim and his team have done in the last few years ago?

My son is in University in Austria working on his Doctorate and he wanted me to PVR some of the Canuck's games for him to watch so I can watch some of those games. I also have AHLTV and can go back and watch any games I missed as well. It helps with the Symptoms of quitting hockey cold turkey.

How could they sit Jake when he has scored 18 goals this season. I would sit Lui or Big Mac before Virtanen.

JT has become a real leader and mentor for Jake and the other young guys.

In the end of the day I think the Canucks won't be able to sign both Markie and TT. It will cost too much and I think Markie is the priority.

I didn't think that Demko had a bad game. He had no chance at that first goal and he made some great saves.

I don't know why they would block you Alf. I don't always agree with you all the time (like the fire Green thing) but you make me laugh a lot. I hold that in high esteem.

I think Tanev is our best RD. I would put Myers number 2.

It is Hockey Night in Utica as they are in Charlotte to play the Checkers in back to back (Friday and Saturday) games. 4pm on AHLTV and the radio station is KRock for those that like to listen to games . Mikie has been great and looking forward to another great night by him. It will be fun to watch the Utica game and then the Vancouver game.

Can he play in the AHL next season? We need centers in Utica and he is looking better as we hear more about him.

I have to admit I didn't think Quinn would do this well in his rookie season. I thought maybe 35 or 40 points and didn't think he would be in the race for the Calder (thought his brother would be better than Quinn as the defensive game is harder to learn). He seems to have a real good ability to angle players away from the net and uses his stick well to knock pucks off opponent's. He has been pretty good in his own end and hasn't been sheltered at all. Glad I was wrong.
