Benson is a great prospect, but he didn't fill a need. Willander fills our biggest need.
Buffalo was a good place for Benson; and Vancouver is a good place for Willander.-

Trading down is tempting, but it would be hard to pass on Dvorsky.
However, if we only trade down to 13 and pick up a 2nd rounder, it might be worth it. -

Draft is wide open after the first 4 picks, and Allvin is much better at keeping cards close to his chest than Benning ever was.

I'm actually so choked. Joined in 2015, but I lurked for long before that.
This forum helped me through a really hard time, including a battle with schizophrenia, which I ended up on the other side stronger and wiser. At a time when I needed to condense my circle of friends to only those I trusted, these forums gave me a sense of connection around a team we all loved.
I honestly don't know if I'll be as invested in the Canucks without CDC.
