That's going a bit too far. I don't wanna put a cap on Horvat's potential--if he got that much faster in a short amount of time just through playing shorter shifts and NEVER floating around, who knows how good he'll get. However, I think we'll all agree that while Horvat has a high floor, Mackinnon has a very high ceiling. He looked like the best player on the ice most of the time in his first playoffs.
On the other hand, it's just ridiculous to say Boeser is better than Eichel, at this point. It's fairly likely Eichel will be better than McDavid in their first season. He is more developed than almost anybody who has entered this league at that age.
