Hearing about 1 Toronto team is bad enough; can't imagine hearing about 2.

Would love if Houston got a team. Although short lived, the Houston Aeros of the WHA were legendary.

These are my favourite players so far: Conor Bedard Matvei Michkov Will Smith Dalibor Dvorsky Axel Sandin-Pellika Ryan Leonard Matthew Wood Oliver Moore This is not a list of who I think will be the best players--just who I like the most stylistically and positionally (valuing centers especially). The top tier is who I think will go at the top of the draft; the second tier is who I hope will be there when the Canucks pick.

I'm happy with the trade. Making this trade makes us comfortable with taking a top forward prospect that falls to us. This is one of the best drafts in years as far as forwards--defense, not so much. If we didn't make this trade, we would have felt screwed if Sandin-Pellikka or Reinbacher were off the board (as I am starting to suspect they will be). Who would we have drafted then... Willander? I'm not seeing anyone mention that it wasn't Hronek for a 1st and 2nd, it was Hronek and a 4th for a 1st and 2nd. We now have 5 picks between the 3rd and 4th rounds. We can recoup the 2nd lost in a trade, or go for volume and have more shots at the dartboard. The trade wasn't made in a vacuum. Hronek is now our 2nd best defenseman behind Hughes, and I think he's going to prove his worth next season. Even in those 3 games he played with us, we looked like a better team.

That's going a little too far. It's not his fault he'll be drafted there. What if he comes here?

He'll want to play in the NHL. Just sucks it'll be for the Blackhawks.

I hope Bedard refuses to go to Chicago, citing the sexual abuse. If they treated their rookies like that, how could he expect them to treat him well.

The announcer messed up--saying that Columbus dropped to 3rd so it was Anaheim or Chicago for 1st overall--going into the commercial.

I'm a little sick to my stomach. Chicago is the least deserving team to get Bedard.

That was such a gratifying win as a Devils fan. Really impressed with Schmid.

Devils are playing well. Need to stop taking penalties though. Weak calls nonetheless.

I like this series, just have less time to browse these forums. Hope the Devils win. Will be watching game 7 live.

Boeser requested a trade because Boudreau almost sat him for Hockey Fights Cancer Night. Now that Boudreau is gone, and Boeser has found his love for hockey again, I see no reason to trade him.

Devils are my #2 team, so I only voted for the Devils. But in all honesty, I'd be okay with any Canadian team winning.

I hoped OEL would return to form with the Canucks. Anyone still defending this trade is delusional.

OEL was our second best defenseman last season. His defense has really fallen off though. Hopefully adding Hronek stabilizes OEL, but the way things are going, we might be looking at a buyout before we really see them two together.

No chance. It could be 10 years before Bedard is available again.
