  1. With a sick greasy flow and dirt stache like that i'm not surprised erik
  2. Go to the gear on the top rightish of your game, click it, and when it drops down, select 'detail level'. In national competitions, set the preset configuration to quick sim.
  3. click your name at the top, scroll down with you mouse til you find 'go on Vacation'. set the date you want to sim to and what the ai can do without you, and it'll get you pretty fast to that date.

I think he has very good potential to be a top 4 d-man in this league. of all of our prospects, he's the biggest bet in my opinion. Though, like all of our d-prospects, far from a sure thing, but i've always had high hopes for him. Feel he's our most underrated prospect.
  5. i don't base management strategies off video games. I use common sense, and what's actually been happening in the league. some think it's so easy to just swap prospects and expect it to be a fair trade, and that no other factors apply, or get actual good value when a market is crap. the only thing i have against benning is the timing of his trades, when the market is saturated, or not holding out for better value at the trade deadline. if he was able to even get fair value for 50% of his trades he'd be a great gm in my eyes.
  6. Nope. ask any NYI fan. Reinhart was struggling mightily and not living up to expectations. oilers took a shot on him cause they're desperate. do you really expect that the oilers would have taken another center, aka barzal with that pick? no, they would have taken a d-man or samsonov and you know it
  7. matt barzal wasn't an oiler when they traded for Griffin reinhart. try again. also, reinhart was a struggling prospect that the NYI gave up on, another factor i mentioned.
  8. alright. give me an example of a prospect trade that has happened that wasn't because of A: a dispute between the player/agent and the team B: an obvious fleecing of one gm to another C: both prospects being low quality and teams taking a shot in the dark
  9. yeah, but do you expect many teams to give up on their prospects regardless? gms have too big of egos to just be trading high quality prospects they picked for other prospects unless they've completely given up on them, a top 6/top 4 NHL forward/d/man is coming back, or they think they're fleecing the other team. i will be happily surprised if benning somehow trades a forward for a d prospect of EQUAL or BETTER quality. very very unlikely knowing him, but i'm not expecting it. That's why i look forward to the draft, where benning is actually decent.
  10. having a lot of forwards are great and all but they have almost no hope for a top 2/top 4 D. they need a chychrun, day, bean or krys in the next draft or it isn't looking pretty moving forward.
  11. Virtanen does not have the IQ for the pro game. he has the attitude, which might turn him into a good 3rd liner, but not top 6 upside. he will be a more physical shawn matthias at his best I'd say. Boeser's game is more adapted to the NHL style. there are many players who play a north south game like virtanen but it doesnt translate to the NHL. Boeser can play a cycle, snipe, bat in pucks in front of the net etc game. Virtanen's game is skate up the wing, cut in or take a shot, repeat. aka matthias
  12. this guy is a much better prospect than virtanen. top 6 or bust, and this guy i feel will be a 60 point winger in his prime. good pick.
