My allergies have been acting up, but I feel you. I work very hard to keep sniffles to a minimum while out shopping.

The cough thing is likely a reasonable but mildly overdone worry.

I'm more scared that people don't cover up their face or avoid crowded areas.  Trout Lake was packed today esp. in the dog section.  I get it gets boring at home but do things that don't require you being close to others, and don't gather in numbers reminiscent of pre-Covid days, because that's what got the States and Europe.  

A good book is one of the delightful things us hairy apes conjured up..& now we've gone & thrown that(basically) into the crapper. Now I'm seeing red.

I dunno Alf, it's sad though. We're in a pretty small neighbourhood with kids in every second house, yet very few of them ever play outside, or participate in sports.

For example, in my son's grade they have 3 full classrooms, ONE OTHER KID PLAYS HOCKEY. ONE!

Technology contributes to an earlier separation of niche interests in any given individual. But, while you have the more sedintary individuals interested in technology and not leaving their screens, conversely, there is certainly a product of athletes performing at higher levels than ever before because of many of those individuals learning more, faster than ever, enabling the underlying technologies to exist.

I guess to a certain extent. More likely than not, a lot parents are just lazy $&!#s who want to get off easy and just allow their children to get glued to a screen instead of actually having to take them somewhere to do stuff.

Side note- my son's atom team would absolutely destroy the atom team I played for. There's only one kid on his team who legitimately sucks and obviously does not want to be there.

Tomas Vokoun has a higher career save percentage than everyone you mentioned except Thomas and Luongo and is fairly unheralded.

vokoun great shout. Belford I always found overrated but my friend just said underrated. Turco was always rated fairly imo. Cam Ward had some good years not sure where to put him overall. Hasek obviously one of the all times great. The great Kolzig with probably the coolest name ever was underrated some seasons. sometimes overrated imo. Osgood was hit and miss iirc.

The only time Bitcoin gets stolen is if people invest in shady crap (like Bitconnect, classic ponzi scheme). The single biggest reason why Bitcoin or other Crypto's like it are monumentally safer is because of a lack of centralization.

Bank accounts, Credit Cards etc are what is called a "Custodial Account", meaning some authority manages the "security" of those accounts and authorizes requests to pull from the account.

Using crypto currencies, you control the safety and security of the account "wallet" and initiate a Push of funds from one account to the other. Without the private keys which control access to a wallet, no one can authorize the money inside.

What happened with bitconnect is several million people out of pure greed and no common sense invested into a ponzi scam without the understanding that it was a ponzi scam.

Can you make money in a ponzi? Yes, absolutely. Get in early, get out fast, problem is most people don't know how to identify a ponzi scam before it's too late.

Ya bush I do. Took culinary arts but realize baking is more my passion and see more of a future with it. Great 1 year course to do when you younger. tons of people got 14ish a hour and are now going to become a lawyer/doctor/engineer ect... while making more then minimum wage. really happy i took it.
