Deb you would love the utica fans. They are full ON for this team and they always show up. It’s too bad you didn’t get to see the barn full. They even cheer for their team after a loss...we’re gonna miss utica if we move our farm team elsewhere Utica has some of the best/if not the best fan attendance in the ahl.

I’m so happy everyone got to see what vinny can bring when he plays. He’s been a fav of mine for a while now. He is nasty and plays that way every game. Wrecking ball is right!!

Ok fair, but it’s not crazy either. Lots of teams do it if they fall out of the race. If the Canucks keep sliding in this gruesome schedule then why not? I’m not trying to be negative, it would be nice to see what they have in these other prospects. I look at Ottawa and yeah the kids got murdered to start the year, but damn they learned quick and are a fun scrappy bunch to watch.

The guy is true class all the way thru. Played the game the right way. Never ever strayed. Solid nhl career all the way thru. Rest easy, you earned it! Wish we could have seen him win a cup!

Ugh so true, we are feeding the beast. I’m not on any social media unless you count this site. I can’t handle it all. Had Facebook many moons ago, but was so good to get rid of it. I find now when I see my friends or talk to them I am genuinely engaged in catching up with what is going on in their lives...because I don’t see them posting their every day life online anymore.

That’s what bothers me, it’s done intentionally to get people going. It’s not just hockey, it’s everything these days. Everything in media now is meant to catch your attention whether negative or positive, only important fact is to get the audience going, regardless of the truth. It is super sad to see those comparisons, I do get what they are trying to portray. I just don’t like how it seems to only be posted to whip a s**t storm up in a already s**ty year. And not like they are doing much better than us right now. Guess I see it as the, trying to make themselves feel better about their team.

This season has always been a good season to train our young guys at the nhl level...but they are stuck in get to playoffs mode, I get that is their goal. But with all the young talent you have this was a year to capitalize on fostering growth. And they have failed big time at that. It’s unfortunate

I get that this is the story they are portraying but it’s not the whole story when taken in a team context. Every GM can strike gold here and there with UFAs and I acknowledge that we haven’t done well in that department but to me cap hit is cap hit. When looking at the full scope, they have made just as bad of mistakes as the Canucks and so has lots of other teams. What I would love to see in the nhl is a failure to live up to contract clause like they do in the nba and nfl...if you don’t live up to your past performances then you get fired...and rightfully so! Why the nhl doesn’t do this is beyond me.

It’s all about the “spin”, gotta sell the point while ignoring the full story/facts. Love that Montreal posted that..oh and by the way...Carey the saviour and always injured price is 10 mil too...but who’s counting, I guess he’s not a forward or defence scoring goals...but bad contracts are everywhere you look. Looking to the future for the rest of the season. Cycle youth and vets as needed. Get fresh looks at guys for next season and see where they are at. Plug away till it’s over. Most of all stay positive even though she gonna be rough lol. By the by, Utica won last night. Gadjovich with 2 goals. Guy is a beast this year. We need his size and strength in our line up.

I honestly think you are right about HF boards lol. I think we're lucky on here because we have a bunch of "old guard" fans from beyond when this team was super successful from the "Sedins" decade of hockey...they have a more even handed view of our team and how it's doing...and how much we have lost and won over the years. I find HF boards full of whiney hormonal basement locked 20 year olds who think they know everything and can't handle being told a different point of view (I did not last long on there). Here if you post a bunch of crap, you're going to get called out on it. And reasoned with to explain your side of things. If you can't stand up to your claim people quickly disregard what you say. On HF boards it's supported it seems to just whip up every damn thing into a bitch fest frenzy...ugh... You've come to the right place. Cheers

It goes without saying, when the type of hockey they are trying to play and execute is ON, they are hard to stop, but when it's even 10 % off, it looks horrible lol

I'm really excited to see if Lind will pan out at center. In Utica he was doing pretty good, and even winning his fare share of face offs. He's been a winger his whole career, so it's odd to see them switch him to center. But they were saying he has a knack for it. And sees the ice like a centerman. Could be why the let Gaudette go. Lind will be a great compliment to our second PP. And if we are so lucky could add that offensive punch to our third line. Just lots to like about his game. And he cares enough to play on both ends of the rink...but his best asset over all is his passing and playmaking ability, always catches me off guard cause he is so chirpy and gritty during the game. He can be in your face, then saucing something nice cross crease to an open winger. Lots of fun watching him play. The Shaunavon S**t Disturber I call him lol.

I can only imagine what you think the rest of BC is like if you think Pitt Meadows is back woods with bajos...lol I'm from northern BC, ALL of Vancouver metropolitan area, all the way out to Chilliwack is crazy busy to me lol, you're idea of Pitt Meadows being in the back woods amuses me lol Am I like slime or primordial goo to you if I live beyond Pitt Meadows?
