      I wouldn't read too much into this year's WC. Lots of thin rosters out there, Sweden lost to Denmark and Belarus and Finland lost to Kazakhstan.

      I’m not surprised. NHL players shy away from going to this tournament even at the best of times, in favour of resting their bodies after the gruelling NHL schedule. Add in the pandemic and saying “yes” to this tournament is even less appealing for the players. When you can’t draw enough 1st or 2nd tier players, this is what you get. Hard to hang that on Lou.
