      I hope he's ok.  I drank a little more than 3 glasses of champagne, and woke up at 10am. I think I may go to the grocery store and buy organic, but I'm too lazy to get ready.  I'm drinking hot water, and hockey is on at 4pm.  Very exciting game!

      There's this other hockey team I like, and years ago, I think 2014, Sally and I were watching them, and I was sitting in a computer chair close to the TV with my feet kicked up, and she was sitting in her little red chair right beside me.  I looked over, and she was standing up in the chair with her eyes glowed to the TV!  It was so cute! 

       

      One year, many years ago, we were watching Olympic hockey, and it was Canada and another team.  During the game, she got off the couch and ran over to the TV, and put her paws on the TV table, starring.

      I think cats can actually follow what’s happening on a 

      TV screen.  Cats are extremely intelligent.  

      I think it’s fabulous, this Internet.  It allows people from different cities to enjoy friendly conversation.  

      I know there’s a full period left, but it’s nearing this old (not so lonely now) Alf’s Bed time.

      You know what's awful.  I don't know the score of this game, and I have it on the TV.  You know what's even more awful.  I was at a Canucks game once drinking wine and texting on my phone, and it took me two months to know who actually won the game.  And all the time, I thought the Ducks won.  That's really awful of me. 

       

      Oh wait, I just looked, we are ahead!

      I agree the Hughes bashing was bull. Such a young brilliant player. Chychrun is struggling when you consider a player like Ghost. But that’s just it, These are young defencemen

    Really like Ristolinen from Buffalo.  I would trade our 2019 first (if it’s not first overall) for this guy.  He’s big, mean, physical, and skilled.  He’s Buffalo’s best D man by A LOT!!! I want him.

      I'm the wrong person to give that answer.  I don't have a high opinion on Risto, but he still has high trade value to a defense needy team. 

       

      The Sabres aren't in a huge hurry to get rid of him since he does eat up monster minutes, but if the TDL rumours were true, they were still listening to offers, but evidently didn't get a good enough offer to part with him.

       

      Will that change during the off-season when teams are looking to improve their roster for next season?  Your guess is as good as mine.

      You know @Alflives, I kind of feel ick after having 4 glasses of wine yesterday evening. I had chips for dinner, but I should go to the grocery store. It's just a matter of fact of putting on my shoes and walking to the grocery store. Organic blueberries are on sale!

      Forgot about jellyfish! Mine was dried, and in a soup, kind of like shark fin. I've also eaten shark fin, but that was almost 20 years ago when I was ignorant to the entire poaching, food chain importance of sharks. Never again will I eat shark anything. 

       

      I ate kangaroo loin, grilled rare, rolled in honey, then rolled again in roasted pistachios. Very "elk" like. Lean, and simple.

       

      Bear was pepperoni format, honestly could have been anything.

      I roast a whole pig over charcoal once per year. Eating the face is one of the highlights. People who have done it know what I'm saying. The cheek meat, jowls, around the ear, behind the eyes, it's all so tender.

       

      Plus, when you crack the skull and get into the brain. Imagine if foie gras tasted like pork.

       

      Then you break down the belly, the ribs, the legs. It's all good.

      Quantum....I think Bettman moves Ottawa ( Kanata ) to QC to keep the Canadian quota at par meanwhile Florida would move another US location. I prefer what your saying though.

    Mrs. Alf has MS.  Do you guys know what that is?  She’s toast.  I’ve increased my scotch consimpyion knowing that I’m going to be alone (except for my dog) soon.  Life sucks, and then you die.  I really could could care a $&!# about hickey.  Sone of you hockey is your life, get it means nothing.  What only matters is heLth.  Life sucks, and then you die.  I need to drink more.  Tomortoes I wish I could jump off a bridge.  Alas, I can’t even do that.  It sucks being old and decrepit.  Mrs. Alf has matynev1 month left to live, at least that’s what the doctors say.  What if, in this drunken stupor, I drill holes in my heD?  Will that end my pian?  I drank a full bottle.  I still feel like crap.  Don’t get old you going people. It sucks cannonsgetting old, and losing your best Brenda. I hate doctors.  They only give bad news.  Did you know that Mrs. Alf, back in the day was an All ?American in track?  Yup.  I was too.  (I know it’s craxu, but it’s true.  We were both All ?Americans.). Now she’s toast.  Fu#@ this life sucks!  I’m on to bottle # two.  Mrs. Alf is way too strong.  These doctors, who I think are (I was going to say lbtards) are stupid.  You should see Mrs . Alf ... she’s really amazing!  No way she’s sink, like those losers say.  Should I hide the actionx for the Gus?  

    One more bottle, and maybe? I’d feel better?  I do have my dog.  When he’s gone, then that’s it.  No more suffering and pain.  Just end it.  

    Im not a happy Alf tonight.  

    Seriously, what am I going to do?

      My buddy in Australia has MS. Has a great, loving and supporting family. Good friends, a caring job. He even gets time to compete in sailboat races. He's had it for 20+ years. Doesn't let it beat him. Not all heroes wear capes.

      I'm so sorry to hear this Alf. 

       

      All you can do is wait and hope for the best, for many with MS it can be managed for a very long time and the meds are getting better and better. You have reason for optimism.

      Take no single doctor's word, consult someone else. Most likely the Dr. is right, but they do make mistakes.

      There are support groups for folks with MS, they can help with ideas and techniques for mitigating and fighting the disease.

      The Canucks without Demko would be a very poor version of the Oilers now, and going nowhere without a goalie like Demko

      I wouldn't trade Demko for almost anyone.  However, for Draisaitl you have to pull the trigger.  That's a no brainer.  He's a top 3 player in the NHL and would push Petey to #2 centre.  BO would be #3.  We would have the best centre lineup in the NHL, it wouldn't even be close.

       

      Only problem is how to replace Demko.

      Meaning our 4 Centermen would be Drai, Pettersson, Horvat and Miller

       

      I keep Drai and Pettersson

       

      Trade Horvat for a #2 RHD, and Miller for a young up and coming goalie
