SLO Mo another big minus three in an embarrassing Wings’ loss. -
Woo will be Hughes’ partner next year. Big year for both.

Canucks to celebrate Pride Night on Friday vs. Flames
Alflives replied to -Vintage Canuck-'s topic in Canucks Talk
Team is fractured. Guaranteed loss. -
Maybe Yzerman let us steal Hronek because he's a moron?
-
I think a lot of us fans have PTBD. New management is a lot better at player evaluation and prediction. If they see Woo as an NHL D man then we will for sure find ways to keep him.

A season ticket holder's letter to Jim Rutherford
Alflives replied to fanfor42's topic in Canucks Talk
We will buyout OEL, trade Myers after his bonus, and fully dumperoo Garland. That’s 17 million cleared off the cap for next season. Lots of room to improve the club. -
We are buying out OEL this summer; it’s the sure way to make us better. We can’t have OEL in the press box as a continued healthy scratch and a league minimum guy in his spot on the bottom pairing. That’s 8 million allocated to a bottom D spot. Even in the most expensive two years of the cap penalty for the buyout we would only be paying a total of five mil, including the OEL buyout cost, for that role. We can budget on known costs buying out OEL. It’s unknown what will happen if we try to keep him. Can’t risk that unknown. Just buy him out. And dumperoo Garland too. Remove the Benning stain.

Boeser wants out. Why else would our management give Brock’s agent to pursue a trade?

[Signing] Predators sign Jake Livingstone

Woo is a far better player than Livingston and he’s younger. Not my views about Livingston’s slug skating. That’s the book on the guy. Big, and lumbering. He isn’t an NHL skater. -

Livingston isn’t an NHL skater. We went for the two college free agents who skate great. -

He's a bustaroo bonsai. Glad we got the D guy who skates like an NHL player and not a guy who needs to improve his skating at aged 25. -
The odds of the Wings getting a player as good as Hronek with either of those picks is very very very low. That was a friggin' steal of a deal.

Again, that direction is a rebuild. To be bad enough to draft high consistently would require trading Demko, Hughes, and Petey. They are too good for us to be that bad. And we flipped the Islanders' pick at the height of its value for a young, right shot, 2D, who is a heck of player. I see us looking really good. But we must get rid of OEL, Garland, Myers.

[Signing] Canucks sign Akito Hirose

Exactly! Get the best players. This guy can skate. The other D available are poor skaters. No thanks. The game is too fast for them. -
[Signing] Rangers re-sign Filip Chytil

Moving Bo and Miller is rebuilding. That's two key core pieces. Might as well tear it down to the studs and trade Hughes, Petey and Demko. Deep dive for 5 to 7 years and hope to draft guys as good as the ones moved out. Clearly we have a fabulous key core. Petey is top five. Hughes is top five. Demko is top five. Miller (as a 2C is top five) Hronek (as a 2D) is top five. We have a great core! Our owner was right about keeping Miller. And thank God we traded Bo and got such an incredible return. Now it's time to buyout OEL, and trade Garland, Myers, and Boeser. Wash away the Benning stain. -

This is moo. Freidman reported a week before the 2022 TDL that Miller was off the market. Our team was getting the BB bump, winning lots, fans were excited, seats were just opened again for full attendance, and Miller was leading the club. IMHAO our JR wanted to make the Miller deal, but our owner stepped in and said no. Then in the summer our owner stepped in when JR wanted to change the coach. Our owner is the reason for the season.
