Gradin’s Comments sound like the Twins are back for at least one more season, and Pettersson and Dhalen will be on our third line, playing sheltered 5 on 5 minutes, and second unit PP. Who would be a good centre for them?
This game will be a really good test for Dhalin too. He’s been used to plenty of time to make plays from behind his blue-line. The
Canadians will give him very little time. I’m curious to see how the kid handles the pounding he most certainly will take. Pettersson will shine I think. He’s deadly in open ice, and the PP. The Canadians do leave gaps, and will likely take 4 or 5 penalties.
I guess this time without Bo shows just how important he is to a winning team. He must do a lot of things really well, that we can’t see on TV, or maybe not understand. He’s clearly an exceptional player.
GO BO GO!!! (But not until we are guaranteed a top five pick )
Interesting chart.
does this chart take into account: strength of line mates, strength of match-ups, 5v5, PK, PP, from face off, from dump in, under pressure, etc?
That’s an interesting idea. Do you think more guys get hurt without Guddy? He does do a lot of the dirty work. Ekblad isn’t do as well now that he’s picking up parts of Guddy’s job back in Florida, right?
Yes, that’s all good that he’s developing his game so nicely. I’m referring to his natural courage when taking body contact to free up pucks along the walls, especially the end wall on dump ins. He’s much like Tanev in that regard. Juiolevi takes hits to make plays. I’ve noticed the other Finn D, and a lot of the d in the tournament, simply poke at the puck, trying to move it to a teammate, to avoid the contact. I think Olli is going to be a really good player for us for many years.
Getting Manzeil and Kaepernick would fill the seats across the CFL for sure. Love to see them both. Love to see Kap here for our Lions. Bet he draws over 50,000 fans!
