  1. Is Demko ready for next season?
  2. Gradin’s Comments sound like the Twins are back for at least one more season, and Pettersson and Dhalen will be on our third line, playing sheltered 5 on 5 minutes, and second unit PP. Who would be a good centre for them?
  3. This game will be a really good test for Dhalin too. He’s been used to plenty of time to make plays from behind his blue-line. The Canadians will give him very little time. I’m curious to see how the kid handles the pounding he most certainly will take. Pettersson will shine I think. He’s deadly in open ice, and the PP. The Canadians do leave gaps, and will likely take 4 or 5 penalties.
  4. I guess this time without Bo shows just how important he is to a winning team. He must do a lot of things really well, that we can’t see on TV, or maybe not understand. He’s clearly an exceptional player. GO BO GO!!! (But not until we are guaranteed a top five pick )
  5. The kid’s head is almost always up, and he’s looking to make plays. He’s a beauty for sure.
  6. The Canadian coach likes Gadjovic as much as he likes Makar, it seems:(
  7. And so do centres. Most important list: QB Centre Middle linebacker Blindside Guard Cover Corner Rush End What do you think?
  8. Dave Hodge got fired for this “pencil toss”.
  9. Is TS our CDC TS (the guy with the “Sparkle”)?
  10. Taking chances, and turning pucks over in bad areas results in odd man counter attacks, and the player responsible getting benched.
  11. Thanks for the update I wasn’t able to watch the game.
  12. Interesting chart. does this chart take into account: strength of line mates, strength of match-ups, 5v5, PK, PP, from face off, from dump in, under pressure, etc?
  13. That’s an interesting idea. Do you think more guys get hurt without Guddy? He does do a lot of the dirty work. Ekblad isn’t do as well now that he’s picking up parts of Guddy’s job back in Florida, right?
  14. Isn’t he an 18 year old?
  15. In the hottest parts of summer I drink not just cold tea, but iced tea.
  16. Yes, that’s all good that he’s developing his game so nicely. I’m referring to his natural courage when taking body contact to free up pucks along the walls, especially the end wall on dump ins. He’s much like Tanev in that regard. Juiolevi takes hits to make plays. I’ve noticed the other Finn D, and a lot of the d in the tournament, simply poke at the puck, trying to move it to a teammate, to avoid the contact. I think Olli is going to be a really good player for us for many years.
  17. And Juolevi takes body contact to free up pucks. I’ve noticed a lot of those other guys don’t.
  18. Is he a knuckle dragged, who can play? Maybe we need to resign Guddy for starters?
  19. Dhalin and Juolevi could be our top pairing for the next decade. Fingers, toes, and eyes crossed:)
  20. I’m hoping, if we don’t get Dhalin, we get Brady Tkatchuk. I think by the time of the draft, Brady will be ranked second behind Dhalin.
  21. tsn.ca has a game highlights video. Pettersson scores a brilliant goal!
  22. True enough. Plus, IMHAO, Kaep wouldn’t experience the racist stupidity up here.
  23. Getting Manzeil and Kaepernick would fill the seats across the CFL for sure. Love to see them both. Love to see Kap here for our Lions. Bet he draws over 50,000 fans!
