We now have our key core. Hronek was the final piece. Now we (which is always fluid) build the supporting cast and it’s Cup time! “Don’t worry; be happy”.
If you’re referring to the Islander’s first we got for dumping Bo, then your argument makes no sense. We moved that pick for a 25 year old top pairing right shot D. That’s called building. It’s a smart move. We basically traded Bo for a more important piece.
You should get those tickets back, and right friggin’ now. Our team is going to be over 100 points next year and win the CUP! we now have an excellent core. Just missing the shutdown (right shot) 3C. But have all the other key pieces.
Detroit has sure gone into the tank without him. Looks like Slo Mo was expected to take on Hronek’s minutes and failed miserably. No wonder Yzerboy is plsnnning out 5 more years of doing the tamkeroo. We got his best D man! And all we had to pay, in a Rohan about way, was fat wallet. We won!
Miller clearly stands up for his mates. He had a nice beat down standing up for Kravtsov. Guys like Miller (elite skill, size, mean, tough, smart, high compete, leader) don’t come cheap.
When Hronek is ready to go that will take some of the minutes from Hughes. Miller plays too many minutes. We need a right shot centerman, who plays good defensively. Kind of like when Gillis got us Malholtra, but a right shot guy.
