  7. GRAND FORKS, N.D. – University of North Dakota freshman forward Brock Boeser and junior goaltender Matt Hrynkiw have both been recognized by the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) for their outstanding play in North Dakota’s non-conference sweep at Vermont last weekend. Boeser (pronounced bess-ur) was named NCHC Rookie of the Week while Hrynkiw (pronounced her-INK-yoo) became the second goaltender from UND this season to earn NCHC Goaltender of the Week honors. Boeser, from Burnsville, Minn., led all NCHC freshmen in scoring over the weekend with three points. He set up Bryn Chyzyk’s power-play goal in the third period of Friday’s 2-0 win, then followed up with a goal and an assist in Saturday’s 5-2 victory. In his past three games, Boeser has four goals and two assists.
  8. Utica Comets Director of Hockey Operations Pat Conacher announced today that the Vancouver Canucks have reassigned defenseman Evan McEneny to the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL. McEneny, 21, appeared in one game for the Comets this season. Last season he posted 45 points (9-36-45) and 71 penalty minutes in 68 games for the Kingston Frontenacs of the OHL. The 6’2″, 215-pound defenseman played in 240 OHL games over his five-year career. He registered 129 points (24-105-129) and 209 penalty minutes. A native of Hamilton, ON, McEneny went undrafted but was signed by the Vancouver Canucks on Sept. 13, 2012.

  11. In the last game against Slovan Bratislava, Slovakia he was back to his usual minutes - 20:50 which is little less than the top one of 20:56 by Timashov. 3 hits, 1 SOG, 1 blocked shot. +0 in the 4:3 shootout loss.
  12. I am using laptop and this is very frustrating. All web pages are in black and white, no pictures, text only placed on the screen in one column on the left side from top to bottom of page. Very slow opening of any page.
  13. Thank you Win Tha Game! This is great that you have registered here and I don't need to go to HF Boards to watch your video clips.
  14. Tryamkin with assist today in the game against Medvescak Zagreb, Croatia. The link http://video.khl.ru/quotes/314367?locale=ru starting at 00:39. Nikita played just 13:07 clearly recovering from inquiry or sickness.
  15. The thing is that major part of revenue for KHL clubs come from the sponsorship and promotional deals.

  21. Nikita did not play the game before, I am not sure why, maybe sick or inquired. And in the last game yesterday he played "just" 19:25 which is low minutes for him. This is the link to the game highlights http://video.khl.ru/highlights/347707 Interesting moments in the video (Tryamkin is # 88): 00:19, 00:29 - hit, almost sent another player to the bench; 01:10 - shot on net; 01:38 - successfully defending 3 on 1, long reach, long stick; 03:00 - secondary assist on goal. His summary for last game against Dynamo Moscow: 1A, +1, 3 hits, 2 blocked shots, 2 PIM (interference), 1 SOG, 39 shifts.

  23. Canucks Misconduct Retweeted Brain B ‏@RealTKD Oct 8 @nucksmisconduct I asked Coach Green at Comet's party who he is most surprised to see in Utica. Gaunce and Hunter were 1st 2 names he said
  24. Oh right. And there is also age restriction - for drafted European players the ELC contract requirement is extended to 27 years. The signing bonus may not exceed 10% of contract amount. Yeah this does not look promising for his play in AHL at all...
