Why would you be worried about what a professional NHL player in his first season would think about a junior player being traded? It's a business, if it soured him on Van or changed his motivation in ANY way he doesnt belong in the NHL. Professional hockey players arent nearly as mentally fragile as the fans. -
By the opponents maybe. Playing with a chip on your shoulder every 1 out of 10 games doesnt make you tough. Overrated and overpayed. Goodbye OKbranson

I hate the term 'stealth rebuild'... finishing bottom 5 isn't stealth, and everyone knows and has been calling the Canucks a rebuilding team for the last few years. Really silly term you only see on CDC.

Absolutely. That's why I said we need to snag a #1 D. We're all seeing how the Oilers screwed up - Chi had Keith, Pitt had Letang... need a true #1 to contend

If we're lucky we might have a #1 C in a couple years. If we can snag a #1 d-man soon, this might be a pretty fast rebuild. A core of- Petersson, Boeser, Horvat, Demko, Dahlen (?) Futures looking bright!
