      You know me, I just lurk periodically. I don't follow WJC but I'm glad the team gave us a little something to be proud of... I'm otherwise pretty ashamed of my country today (as usual).

       

      Twilight is doing ok as well from what I can tell. We keep in touch.

      Hi Beary. I am doing alright. We finally got a bit of rain. It was a light sprinkle for about 10 mins, but that was enough to scare away all the Trump protestors downtown :P Go figure!

      I have a soft spot for Montreal, always liked Larry Robinson, Jean Beliveau, Guy Lafleur.. and I've always appreciated the fans when they gave Kirk McLean a standing ovation. December 4, 1991. 

      45 saves in a 3-0 victory. That was all class. 

      Other trivia. It was the first time since they joined the NHL that they shutout Montreal.

      before my time lol, alot of family up island are die hard fans of montreal and always been a big carey price fan so ever since then i watch em when i can, i dont go on there fourms and follow prospects ect closely like i do with the canucks. but i like what they did in the off season, as long as they dont beat us this year.

      yeah that was pretty good, think they just did a draw for the hell of it, but tyson deffs won IMO

      yeah i agree, jones did a good job of landing a few jabs before tyson got in close. but the majority of the fight was in the clinch and mike dominated that area. tyson also landed more power shots which are worth more in my books

      Bill Foley said the NHL start date is not likely going to be Jan 1st. He said mid jan or Feb 1 are more likely. The WJC doeent have to worry about schedule conflict or anything with the NHL
