If the nay-sayers here had their way we would cut a 19 year old kid who hits like a cement truck and was the fastest skater (forwards and backwards) in his league. These are the same guys who shredded the Twins calling them sisters etc.

Incessant whining is criticising? How can you criticize a 19 YEAR OLD who has played 19 games? Kane was selected first overall, Toews was 3rd. The 2 players taken at 6th those years. Sam Gagner and Brassard. Let's wait to see if Jake develops. Whining about him now is nothing more than being a whiner.

When did he have a bad WHL season? His last season he was injured for a third of it and put up a point a game. People expect him to be McDavid. There was only one of those. He is a 19 YEAR OLD. Bury your heads for 5 years and then talk. He has a long ways to go BUT a long time to try to get there. DEAL WITH IT, WHINY BRATS.

It was a decent shaker, but for those who lived near the San Andreas, this was like bad gas. Wait until a 6+ rolls through here. People are going to $#!+ themselves. 7 or 8, will be devastating for weeks. People won't sleep properly.

Outside of Lindros and Benn, there have been few, if any big body skilled players who had an impact at the WJCs. They take longer to develop. He is playing very cautious, has been all year. There were a few shifts where he cracked it open today

The great thing about Button predicting something is that he has never been right about a thing, so, there is a great chance Jake goes elite.

The shark from a sharks tale paints himself to look like a dolphin and sings a homosexual song about himself. You likely don't have kids. This has been a good period for Jake, he seemed interested.

Where is Jake's fire? I thought he was part Finnish, which is supposed to come with a fire in the belly. He should look like a shark hunting prey, instead he looks like sebastien, the whale washing dolphin.

What are you talking about? Neither of them are going to Finland. We have rookie Russian dman playing forward right now. We can't afford to send either guy anywhere. Injuries etc are killing the depth.

He is here to stay, he just needs more confidence in his game. He seems to be trying so hard to be defensively responsible and keep his shifts short that his offensive game has suffered.

And how soon do you expect that to happen? How long before the twins were Elite? I bet you, like most, had written off the greatest players in franchise history early as well.
